@missjeanie Dang it, now I might have to shop a Kardashian’s brand. 😅 I’m happy for Diarrha! Waiting to see what comes of this. From what I’ve read so far, the intent is for this beauty arm of Skims to be product focused instead of celebrity focused. That + Diarrha’s oversight gives me hope.

I find that Sephora Canada only carries a selection of items. Mostly I tend to notice the LE packaging that they put out is very sparse, I hope with a wider audience they carry more! Mac was one of my gateways to more 'grown up' makeup.

Ooouh, your brain is a good one to pick about this @missjeanie! I don't expect that Sephora would carry the limited edition items (though I will say, hats off to Sephora US of late for having the some Dior LE makeup products) but it's nice to hear that there's some even if it's sparse. Would you say the MAC selection at Sephora Canada is mainly the core collection of items? Or do you see newer (but permanent) collection products available at Sephora Canada around the time of the actual launch date?

@itsfi From my local store this evening….

My store tends to carry mostly less expensive brands to mid range. I was actually impressed with how much was in store, however also sad as half the larger display used to be Dior. Seeing the second smaller pink section was a surprise, but the staff I was speaking with said that MAC has been doing really well with the GenX who see it as something we were exposed to as teenagers and then the price point is a big plus for the younger clientele.

@itsfi I was actually super proud of myself for not snagging anything! Well... I got a couple point perks that I'm going to add to some advent gifts. And I've decided I need another mist, debating between the OleHenriksen peach mist and the Rhode mist.

@itsfi I like that they both seem to have a fine mist. And I think I'm looking at them both for different reasons. Maybe. I like to have a mist available to help me run through my skincare routine faster on busy days. I was thinking the OH may be good to get a mist in before a moisturizer/SPF in the morning to give a boost of hydration. Then the Rhode I was thinking could be nice to use as a sandwich product for days I'm using a Retinol type product in the evening. Do a quick spritz, follow with the retinol and moisturizer. Or even straight out of the shower with a wet face before I get to doing my evening skincare. I'm starting to talk myself into needing both?

I don't really remember how they were with launch dates @itsfi . I just know that only some of the newer products come out and only some of the LE items. They have holiday bundles on there now, but some of those 'special' collections never show up. I'd say they also only carry the more popular shades of some lips and shadows. Even when I hit a store that has a MAC gondola it's not usually any of the more exciting launches. I think my local store carries some. I'll snap a photo of their display tonight when I pick up my BOPIS items.

Early 2026 is just around the corner @danielledanielle. Happy to hear that the brand will be in Sephora and Sephora at Kohl's stores (and online, of course). They have a ton of product so I'll be interested to see which of their product offerings will be made available.

This MAC to Sephora news gives me hope that perhaps Cle de Peau (which Sephora Canada also carries) may someday make its way to Sephora US. 🤞
