@Sunnysmom I kind of think they occasionally offered online sales (not sure it was them; may be another company.) One time I got a great deal on a Tom Ford palette. Hope it's as good as I think it will be!

Oh wow that’s amazing if so @Ispend2much6 . My store used to tell me they did not offer anything online but it’s been awhile since I’ve been in. So far the items offered are quite good deals, especially today but I’ve yet to buy anything. Trying to head into J/F on lower buy! 💪🏼😂

@Ispend2much6 @makeitup305 @faeriegirl I think how it goes depends a lot on the company. Both Frederic Malle and Kilian were bought by EL but FM has really resisted a lot of commercial trends while Kilian has definitely gotten more commercial and has expressed his misgivings about it. But either way I think both houses have had to make concessions for EL's distribution power.

Not really beauty news, but kind of is. Can you believe that Lynda Carter is seventy years old? And she still looks good in really dark hair (a lot of times that can overwhelm women over a certain age.) Wonder Woman indeed. Taken from the CNN Heroes Tribute.

@curlychiquita Maybe it's because she has highlights and a darker skin tone? Can't figure it out. I'm a lot younger than her and can't wear that dark of shade of hair.

Much to my dismay, Tatcha is discontinuing Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment . It was confirmed to me by a CS rep when I asked about the shade Moonlight. They told me that the ingredients were getting too hard to source. Glad I was able to find a backup on QVC but I wish I’d known before so I could stock up on a sale!

Also, random note, Chanel had to delete their TikTok because a girl was showing the contents of their Advent Calendar and everybody in the comments was dragging it. Kinda warranted if you ask me, luxe or not, that was not worth >$800.

@Ispend2much6 Idk why Chanel did it. To me, it would have made more sense to make the Advent calendar twice as expensive and actually include some full size products and mostly deluxe sizes, with maybe a limited edition shade or special packaging? That seems more Chanel to me than whatever this was. People would have still bought it.

I’ve used the Tatcha for years. It’s an eye cream with a color correcting tint, which was great because it leaned more peach than pink and neutralized my dark circles really well while being hydrating. It’s too bad it’s getting discontinued it was an underrated product imo but if the ingredients are too hard to source I can understand that.
