I feel like a lot of older tutorials were very centered around pale skin, but I think the style itself absolutely works on everyone. you could mix the two styles a bit instead. On deeper skin, highly pigmented shadows and liners usually pop better than pastel-heavy palettes that can turn ashy.

The espresso liner probably keeps the eyes softer and more dimensional than harsh black would under stage lighting. Also love that the formulas you used mix pigments with more flexible textures instead of everything being super matte and dry.

Butterfly is for spring. The take-out box for Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month - there's so much more to AAPIs than food but food is a big part of our culture and it's a big part of my childhood. The green ribbon is a symbol for May's Mental Health Awareness Month and the cluster of flowers is meant to go with the saying "April showers bring May flowers". Quiet Time: I've spent more time being offline during my downtime and being more reflective, with some breaks in between to check up on and check in with a few friends, as well as meet my friend's baby for the first time - it really is so entertaining and joyful to watch someone so small just sleep. 😍 Hydrate & Exercise: Getting back to a better routine/habit/schedule with hydrating and exercising after falling off for a bit. Aromatherapy has been a welcome activity because despite the cold and wind, my allergies are still present. But I had a reprise and could smell and found a candle I forgot about (oops) - Byredo released a limited edition chocolatey gourmand and woody scented candle a year or so ago - ahhhh! June 2026 Wellness Board is in the spoiler. Apologies for the slight delay; I had meant to post it Monday evening. Spoiler

Hi. Pay attention to whether your old shade leaned warm, neutral, olive, peach, or cool because brands describe shades very differently. I usually recommend checking the undertone first in daylight on the jawline.

Hi! Smaller soft synthetic brushes with a slightly tapered or rounded edge usually work best because they let you press concealer into the skin instead of dragging it around. Avoid dense flat brushes that apply too much product at once. Thin layers usually look much fresher under the eyes.

All the shades look lovely on you; @blackkitty2014. I picked up Rosewood from the original group when it first released and hadn't planned on picking up another from the new shades, as pretty as they are. The shimmer in them looks more subtle than I expected (and that's a plus for me) but I'm going to try to stick to my list for spring and summer. That said, I will be in a Dior (not Paris, but wouldn't that just be lovely?!!) so my plans can certain change 😅 Thank you for the swatches.

Love that balm too.As for me lately I’ve become more ingredient-focused with lip products, so I mostly reach for drugstore lippies these days. My favorites usually contain squalane, ceramides, shea butter, jojoba oil, or dimethicone (depending on the occasion).

Hi OP. You can try hydrating plumpers instead. Ingredient-wise (for more options/flexibility), look for hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid, peptides, squalane, ceramides, &. glycerin. Avoid cinnamon, menthol, peppermint, capsaicin (as tingling comes from ingredients like these). Hope this helps.
