Awww, thank you @caitbird. That's so kind of you to say, appreciate it. It's interesting to think about how I feel about a product after I've gone through it - am I going to run out and get another one asap (if I haven't already, ha!) or am I just happy to be done with it so I can move on to the next? My emoji key is a bit of lighthearted fun - I wonder if I'll ever get to a place when all my empties are 🐐?! 😍 I do have a few products I'm testing or trying out for the first time so that makes the chances of an all GOAT empties post less likely but how fun would that?!

@ather, Sephora Canada carries Live Tinted? That's wonderful! 🙌 The skin tint also contains SPF, also zinc oxide. So technically it's probably still the SPF holding back product into Canada but it's promising that the SPF is there!

Thank you @caitbird! I initially just assumed my Sleeping Beauties capsule would be a random medley of products that I'd pull from my stash, all with the common demoninator of just not having received much attention or love prior to the week. I was enjoying the AAPI items I had been using and realized I had a lot more than even I thought I did and many of which I hadn't really used much, if at all, so I thought, why not just do a theme within the theme? Ha! I'm hoping to put the Tower 28 concealer to use more this week but when I have used it, I've really liked it. I don't know if it would be something I'd say right now is my favorite concealer but it is one I enjoy using and reach for without pause. It came out around a time when so many brands were releasing concealers and I also have a few more of those to test out. I'll keep you posted - it'll be interesting to see which ones end up being best suited for me. Just thinking aloud, I feel like I possibly could have 3 "top shelf" concealers - one for under eye, one for concealing blemises and spots and one that acts like a foundation. I usually have different concealers (or, at least different shades) for my under eyes and my dark spots/blemishes. I could not help but laugh at your comment about "having enough concealers at the moment" - there's definitely a large pool of concealers out there to choose from. Of those that you've tried so far, are there any that have been standouts for you?

@tamwyu If you have oily skin, try using setting spray before applying any makeup (including primer); sandwich it between your sunscreen and makeup. Some setting sprays can help keep oil at bay. After makeup, you can use setting spray a second time. I haven’t tried that method myself because I have mostly-dry combo skin, but an oily skinned friend of mine swears by it. She says it’s the only way any brand’s setting spray works for her. You could also powder-set your makeup: use a translucent setting powder and press it (don’t just dust or lightly tap it) into your skin over your makeup. And assuming your skin’s naturally oily, you can try tweaking your skincare routine a bit to control overproduction of oil. I don’t wanna recommend anything there without knowing what you already use in your routine—though I will say niacinamide helps some folks a lot.
