@ather, thank you. It was bittersweet about the hair oil. On the one hand, I’m happy to move on and choose another product. On the other hand, I was making slow and steady progress with it, and by the looks of how things were going, I had a chance, maybe a bit of a stretch chance, of finishing or coming close to finishing the entire bottle by the end of the year. I’m coming to the conclusion that my hair type is not the ideal one for pre-wash hair oils. Or, at least not the ones I’ve tried to date. Which is helpful because I will (hopefully) remember that should I be tempted to pick one up. Go for a sample or deluxe sample size first when it comes to these types of products. Remind me again, is there a pre-wash hair oil you are fond of?

@Shineeeey @I love Artis oval 10 Anisa foundation brush I like putting the foundation on a small dish then dipping the brush in and applying it to the face.

@ather, it’s funny (read: eye opening!!!) how many brands I have in my stash that I can do a full (or close to full) face with. Some I knew that to be the case; others were a surprise. It’s so easy to accumulate but takes a while to use up. 😆 I am reminded though that I should use what I have when I pick it up or near that time. There are some products that I look at and as I use them now; it occurs to me that it would have been better or best suited for me to use around the time I purchased the product (because of my skin type, color, needs, etc). Lesson learned and one I’m hoping I can remember to put into practice with current and future purchase.

@ather, I’m bummed about the PTR; it was very nice. Can definitely see it being a hit. Let’s see, of the chemical SPFs in the kit that are or would be new to me, the only other one I’ve tried is the Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Mineral SPF 30 Refillable Moisturizer, which I really like. 👍🏼 I’ve used the Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Face Sunscreen SPF 50 2 oz/ 60 mL and the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA +++ 1.7 oz/ 50 mL before and both work fine for me. Of those three, I like the Fenty the best, which surprised me. I think I will try the Innisfree chemical SPF next; I have a mini / deluxe sample of the brand’s physical sunscreen so it might be fun to compare the physical and mineral versions from the same brand.

That’s exactly it @itsfi . I definitely think twice about if I really really want to make a beauty purchase. Reading is definitely keep me distracted from impulse purchase 😘
