@Morgan777James Welcome to BIC! Feel free to ask any questions and post your looks. I have never gotten a makeover at Sephora but I'm sure they'll be able to accommodate you. Maybe you can scope out the store nearest you and get a feel for the vibe? You can schedule a service in person so you can chat with an associate and see how they make you feel.As for brows, if you're blanking them out and basically starting from scratch, I think I would come in with them already set and a ready canvas. If you want to practice on yourself, look up a brow mapping diagram- it kind of shows where to place the start, arch, and end of tail for your brows. TikTok even has a filter for it. However, if you want a more dramatic look (closer to drag, with higher arches) Patrick Starr has a video on it https://youtu.be/LsTOYQesx9k. Brows are hard for a lot of people (including myself) so don't be discouraged!

Hi @j4ckson and welcome to BIC!! I don't have kids, but I would like to give you my view about the situation. If I were you, I would ask for permission. But not just that, I would open up with my family about what I feel about makeup and about myself. There's nothing wrong with being trans/gay or want to wear makeup!! I think it's kind of cute that you "steal" your sisters palette 😊 I don't see a tragedy behind it, it's just you and your desire/need to play with some makeup and be yourself. If I were your sister, I wouldn't be angry about it, I would love to share my interest with you. You shouldn't hide yourself. Maybe your family is close minded, I don't know...how old are you? If you have a job already, and you have enough money....go for it and spend whatever you feel is necessary for being YOU!! Good luck 💗🍀

Some things to help with feminization are generally to try to soften the brow line and highlight the cheekbone structure. You have a wonderful cheekbone structure so I would start with contour/bronzer, blush, and then highlighter. A lot of drugstores carry affordable brands to get started like an elf, some great affordable buys here are Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush(my absolute favorite blush ever), and Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight Transcend. Take a good look at your skin tone and try to find something that might compliment it! For example, I love rose gold/champagne colors for my highlighter and I love peach/orange blushes like Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Joy. I also hear the bronzing stick is great for contour! When applying your blush look for tutorials on how to do a "lifted" look. By applying your blush higher on your cheek you can really give yourself a more foxy femme look. Some things that also will help are focusing on your eyelashes, a curler and some mascara go a long way! I use telescopic from loreal. Try applying it after you do your setting spray, if your eyelashes are a little wet mascara goes on much less clumpy. You have beautiful lips as well, for a very easy natural look, try a lip liner in a nude shade or slightly darker than your natural lip color, after that try applying some lip balm like Dior Dior Addict Lip Glow or Dior Lip Glow Oil or even Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer for an extra pop! If you feel you have larger pores IT Cosmetics CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder will do wonders for giving your face a softer look. Also Checkout Jecca Blac's website, I use their concealer + corrector for my shadow and its amazing. Its formulated to be worn in an area that has hair, be careful with too much make up in shadow area because it can draw more attention to it, or give it even more texture.

Hello @ESC2367 , Thank you for your question! I recommend to use an orange color corrector - this will cancel out the blue hue from the five o'clock shadow. Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Color Corrector 3 Orange / Red is a great one to use as it is pigmented and very long-wearing. Apply over the 5 o'clock shadow using a flat brush like the SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Concealer Brush #71 or a dry beauty sponge. Let it absorb and dry completely before layering you concealer and foundation. You'll find this technique will provide you the finish you're looking for. I hope this helps and please share with us how it turns out! Best,ShawnSephora PRO Artist

Hey Zack, what colour eyeliner did you try? People often assume they should grab a black one, but that can be too harsh on some skin tones. I like to use a brown pencil or gel pencil really close to my lashes to make them look thicker.. or maybe you'd like a more fun colour? There are many different options for liner placement according to your eye shape and what look you're going for. Smoking out the liner a little (just tap or blend it with your finger as you go) can help soften that emo look too.Tweaking your eyebrows a bit can create a more androgynous appearance with minimal effort, a la Bowie, Adam Lambert- then you can decide how much to amplify the makeup day by day without committing.
