Today I painted my nails with LynB Designs Fair Isle. Gorgeous!!!! 😍😍😍 It is so colorful and changes so much with the light!

I was working on things around the house and trying to finish up some work before heading out to New York last week that I didn't have time to do my nails. 😩 Imagine then my delight when there were some folks from Deco Beauty in the lounge area at SEPHORiA with some nail stickers. Here's what they created for me - 

I did do my toenails; well, I did them a couple of weeks ago and just haven't swapped out the color - that's on the to do list for this week / weekend. Here's OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress, a deep red. This is actually one of my favorite reds of all time.

I was once told that my toes / toenails look like they belong to cartoon characters. Fine with me. 😅

Thank you @CynthieLu! I just thought “what does that even mean?” So I just took it as a compliment but I do remember spending some time after that trying to see what cartoon character’s toes looked like. 🤣 If it was said to me now, I’d probably just brush it off  or take it as a compliment (even if that’s not what was intended hahaha!)

Love this red. It’s one of the first red polishes that I’ve owned and one of the few polishes I’ve repurchased. 👍🏼

Yeah @CynthieLu, words matter and sadly, sometimes people mean for them to be hurtful. Le sigh. Which really is too bad. But, you know, water off a duck’s back. Or at least try to treat it that way.

I completely missed that there was a lounge, @Mellmars1185. If it weren’t for @heartsmyface I’d be parched! I definitely made use of the lounge on Day 2.

@itsfi  Ooooo I love the stickers! Thats amazing they had them! And your toes do not look like cartoon characters! They are perfect just like you! And this coming from a person who use to tell me I had ugly feet so I never wore sandals for most of my life!

I was surprised to see they had nail stuff, @ather! We chatted while they did my nails about how there’s not a lot of nail products or nail art items at Sephora right now. Maybe that will change? 🧐 

Whoa, whoa, whoa!! What did they say?!!! 😤 Oh no!! People can say the most unnecessary things sometimes. At any age. You wear sandals whenever you want; your feet are NOT ugly! Wear sandals when you feel like it.

I'm good with my cartoon character toes. They're mine, after all. Hahahaha! Oh yes, I love red polish on my toesies. Pre-pandemic, I wore red on my toes 97% of the time; the other 3% being mostly purples or pinks, with the occasional other color families thrown in every once in a while.
