I just got mine.  I like it...better as a blush.  I find it very hard to build up..and I'm not convinced on wear time (seems to fade fast).  More orange/brown on me too.

Pretty.  Not amazing.  In my opinion.

I'll have to see how it works as a blush. I have that one cream blush but honestly it scares me lol. How do you apply it?

I like the Autumn color. It isn't a must have, but I don't have anything like it so I'll keep it for now!

I like it...don't love it.  As a blush I just dot a little on my cheeks then blend it in.  I like it best as a cheek color..hard to build up much on my eye.

Yes! I wonder if it's because of our different coloring or some kind of QC issue! I was excited for the less orangey, more purpley shade!

ARGH!!! FedEx - you had *1* job! Unfortunately, I'd hoped to post some swatches of the moodlight illuminating duo and fall eye color, but looks like that won't happen today. I noticed this morning that my order was on a FedEx truck...in a very very far away part of town. Quelle surprise, it was not able to be delivered today. I've requested they hold it at a nearby fedex but I'm not sure how long that will take!

Ah sorry to hear that. FedEx always changes the delivery date on me. I normally ship my goodies to my work but somehow they always manage to deliver on the day I'm not in the office lol 🙂

LOL isn't that always the case? Looks like my request to hold it at my "local" facility has been received and it should be ready today. I wish I'd known signature was required! The tracking didn't say that :/.

Yesterday I had stopped by Nordies and had a chance to try the Electric Pink matte lipstick.  I am glad I passed.  It was terrible.

The formula is a powdery matte, skips a lot, and is not rich.  The formula of Velvet Violet is completely different.  Velvet Violet is almost perfect.

Just my 2c.

Wow!  Best $52 I never spent. That red you recommended is burning a hole in my Nordstrom basket.  Any bets on how long I hold out?

I can't imagine you looking ghastly but okay.  You should see me in brown lipstick (corpse instead of ghastly).  We really do benefit from getting honest opinions, don't we?

Hahah!  When I tried it on, both the TF SA and my other favourite Nordies SA made a face and just shook their heads, and offered me a lip wipe.

Agreed. Electric Pink looked amazing on ReallyRee, but in person - Velvet Violet was the clear winner! (it was even BF approved. I'm wearing it in my profile pic)

Thanks greenchili! It's definitely a beautiful color, and I was surprised how it wore down after eating. Not like it appears here but at least a wearable color lol

Libellules, it is very similar to the luminous shade "Violet Fatale".  VF is one of my favourite TF lipsticks.  In fact, one of my favourite lipsticks - full stop.

Come to think of it - when I made my first TF purchase a few months ago, I went to the Nordstrom counter specifically in search of a great red and an everyday color. I ended up with Pussycat (wear all the time) and Ruby Rush (have yet to wear). However, I tried on a more Violet shade (must have been Violet Fatale) and I LOVED it. The SA did too, but she was kind enough to remind me that I'd been very specific about what I was looking for lol. I may have to revisit Violet Fatale - I'd completely forgotten about it!

Pussycat is so easy to wear. I think it is the 2nd most comfy matte to wear after VV. VV is so glam though. I love Cherry Lush too. I think Electric Pink is high maintenance. I have to prep my lips with Fresh goodies couple minutes before I put on EP.
