It has been 3 weeks since I have placed an order for any form of beauty product. Hope to keep the momentum going.

I bought the new lightest shade of the LYS bronzer stick LYS Beauty No Limits Cream Bronzer and Contour Stick Motivate on top and LYS Beauty No Limits Cream Bronzer and Contour Stick Hope on bottom. These are super creamy, definitely lean warmer, but this lightest shade is the coolest one so far.

The Frozen River: A Novel by Ariel Lawhon is a historical-fiction mysteryabout a 54-year old midwife who investigates two crimes in the late 1700s in a small New England town. The story begins with a body found frozen in a Maine river in the winter of 1789. The town's midwife (and our protagonist) is called to identify cause of death, which she determines is murder. The main character, Martha Ballard, was a real-life 18th century midwife who, at a time when most women could not read or write, kept diaries for a 27-year period, documenting the weather, political and social issues, and her midwife duties and practices. The story itself is not based on any specific entry into her diaries (as the author fully discloses in the informative notes section at the end of the book). Captivating storyline, excellent heroine, great narrative; I really enjoyed reading this book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars! It was deemed one of NPR's Book of the Year for 2023 and having read it, I can definitely understand why. It is my favorite read of the year so far. They are all calling me too! I have been slammed with work this week so today’s the first time I have to evaluate and decide. I’m not sure I can decide and definitely considering the full set, lol. I have to do my friends’ makeup for their wedding, maybe I need ALL NEW BRUSHES for their minimal makeup looks, lol. @danielledanielle

Before I wash my hair, I use the Mielle light rosemary oil on my scalp and pure almond oil on my ends (both ~$10 on Amazon) and let it sit in a bun for 2-4 hours. In the shower, I use the Sephora scalp scrub before shampooing to get rid of any excess oil and keep my scalp from getting greasy, and I try to do a hair mask in the shower every two weeks (Amika has some great ones!), which is great for damage, and after I finish showering I use Amika Hydro Rush leave-in conditioner, CHI heat protectant, and Olaplex No. 7. I've been doing this for about 5 months and my hair feels super soft and is growing like crazy!

I just started using the Caliray "Come Hell or High Water" waterproof mascara and it's great for lengthening, volume, and stays on the whole day (although the application can take some time). It's also in sustainable packaging which is always a plus 🙂
