I will be 50 on my next birthday, so have obsessed about the fine lines under my eyes. Unfortunately, I have always had really dark circles (caused by genetics, deep set eyes, allergies, etc). Between the wrinkles and dark circles, it has been an expensive battle over the last 10 years! The products I am using now have been game changers! The Biossance Squalane & Marine Algae Eye Cream is super moisturizing and firming, but I have also noticed that using it over time has helped a bit with the darkness. It also works great under makeup and doesn't cause milia. The BEST solution I've found to deal with the dark circles is a colour corrector. Yellow was recommended for the longest time, but yellow exaggerated the circles. Now I'm using peachy tones, which work WAY better. It's worth comparing yellow vs peach/orange to see what works best for your colouring. Make sure it's a creamy, moisturizing formula, as I have found a lot of them accentuate my lines. I've linked my two favourites, for what it's worth!

I found the Elf Color Corrector exaggerated the dryness under my eyes. Use a good moisturizer. If you're young and don't have to worry about wrinkles and firmness, even something inexpensive like CereVe is super moisturizing. The best thing I use to combat my dark circles (genetics, allergies, etc), is a colour corrector. Once I found the best ones for me, the list of concealers that work grew exponentially! The Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector works great. A teeny tiny amount warmed between the tips of your ring fingers and patted over the darkness works wonders. The creamy texture is moisturizing too. It's a small jar, but its potency means it will last for a long time!

Exactly @CookieGirl1! I still pick up full size fragrances but if there's a smaller size, I often will go for that one, unless I've sampled the scent enough times to know that I'll use the full size with some consistency.

Cheapest options are drink a lot of water and use a colour corrector. I'm super fair too (my dad is a ginger). I've found many correctors are too dark, which only exaggerates my circles! The Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector is great! While the initial cost is not cheap, you hardly use any, so it lasts a really long time!! I find the best way to apply it is to warm a tiny dot between my ring fingers and gently pat it over my dark circles until smooth. I found it too thick to apply any other way.

There should be a group specifically for those of us with dark circles! Mine are lifelong because of genetics, allergies, and other autoimmune issues. Aging isn't helping them at all! There are 3 things I do before makeup to help. First, I drink a lot of water. That seems to help my eyes look less sunken. Second, I've recently discovered a fantastic eye cream. I can't say enough about Biossance Squalane & Marine Algae Eye Cream!! I tried it for helping with fine lines (I'm 49), but using it over time has been helping with my dark circles too. Added bonus is how well it aborbs to use under makeup! Third thing I do before concealer is use a colour corrector. The peachy tone I use neutralizes the bluish purple under my eyes so concealer is much more effective. I've had more success with more peach/orangey correctors than yellow, but it took trying both to figure that out.

I have full circle darkness with dry skin too. Between deep set eyes, genetics, and autoimmune issues, my dark circles are lifelong. What I found recently that is helping with both dryness and darkness is Biossance Squalane & Marine Algae Eye cream. Super hydrating without being heavy or greasy and works great under other products (I give it 10-15 minutes to absorb first. I also agree with the other comments on using a colour corrector under concealer. You might have to try a yellow one and a peach/orange tone to see which works best for you. Either colour will work to a certain degree, but when you have the right one, it will work noticeably better. A creamier one will add extra moisture too!

Have you tried a colour corrector to help offset shadows and darkness? I find it helps camouflage puffy bags under my deep set eyes.. The Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector is a good one. I find it really helps concealers do a better job and the light reflecting properties are amazing!
