Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

I was in my Ulta store today and they had a sign up for special event in 2 weeks with makeup artist and preview of all the holiday sets (available to buy) there was one nice UD GWP and the SA told me there would be more..

I found the LMM bag but it says it's OOS.  I'm about to make another T3 purchase so I figured I'd see what I could stack before pulling the trigger.  Guess I'll have to live with 20% off and 3x the points, which are actually worth something.  😄

I really think 20% off and a points multiplier even are the best time to buy things. 

It will take you $615 to get 2000.  Assuming you apply the 20% to all your purchases, you're getting $769 for $615.  Add the $125 in points and now you're getting $894 worth of merchandise for $615.  That's like 32% off.

It's better than the 5x points events which only make everything about 25% off.

The last week has been amazing at ulta.  So many good GWP.  I feel spoiled for choice now!  Now I'm looking at the benefit beauty break like mehhhhhh.

The picture is showing a total moisture facial cream versus the ka-brow. I'd rather have the cream- overall, this is a pretty great beauty break!

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I was in ulta earlier this week (I'm from Canada and we only have Sephora up north😢😢) are the gwp only for online?

i spent over $150 and only got 2 tiny foil samples and that's only after I asked for them. I did see other gwp with specific brands in the store but none of those fancy sample bags u guys posted?

Those GWP bags are only available online. They never have bags like that available in store (except for this month where ONE lucky winner at each store will get a $599 value bag, but there will be 4 online winners, too).

A lot of the brand specific items in the GWP section are available in store. Find these by typing Gift With Purchase into the search bar, because you get 1-2 extra offers over visiting the GWP section. There are so many available at any time that the reps cannot keep track. I remember what offers are available before going into the store and ask when they do not automatically grab them. It also helps if you have a catalog. They remove offers online when they run out, so the online listing is not always everything they have in the store. Catalogs are usually linked in the left margin (since you're in Canada, I assume you're not on the mailing list). 

Without a specific coupon or knowing about a specific perk, I am surprised you got the foils. They never really give me anything I do not ask for unless the rep knows of something I qualify for.

The only general offer I am aware of for stores right now is this Urban Decay Perversion mascara valid through 10/08/16. I cut out my email address, but anyone can use it since it has 10 numbers on the bar code. This offer has been out a while, so most stores will be out of stock anyway.

I totally caved and just bought  a T3 curling iron with the 20% off coupon and the 3x points and the LMM beauty bag.  I am still sitting on 2000+ points but I figured now was the time to spend money because there was 3x the points.  

Are you all ready for some hardcore rationalizing?  T3 curling iron is 20% off up front.  I earned 387 points for it.

387/2000 roughly equals 19%.  19% of $125 is about $24.  So the $150 curling iron cost me $120, I get $24 back, and then I also got the LMM beauty bag.  The only thing I'm interested in over there is the liquid liner.  I can never have too many liquid liner pens!
