I'm not really sure where to post this, but I wanted to share this, which made me smile.

I've recently raved about how my mail man is awesome. He delivers so many packages for me and is always careful to set it close to the door, sheltered from the elements and hidden when looking at the house from the sidewalk. We previously lived in a townhouse complex where we had to get our own mail, so the door-to-door delivery is new to us, and it is certainly a treat.

We got him a coffee card as a small token of our appreciation and tucked it into a Christmas card which we left in our mail box last week, and he just dropped off this for us. 

The way it's written is fairly generic (I expect he gets a lot of gifts on his route) but it warms my heart that he even bothered to send us back a card!

There are still good mail men out there 🙂

So true on what day it is, and next week will be messed up with the "Celebration of New Year's" on Jan 2. The only good thing is my birthday is shortly after New Years so I can go shopping with birthday money.

Yeah! We celebrated one Xmas on Xmas ( at in-laws' ). Now we're gonna have Xmas and anniversary party for family and friends at our place. And, then after New Year's shenanigans... There's one more Xmas and New Year's ( Orthodox )... I am doomed! 😄
