Hi everyone, I have been struggling with the look of my skin on my face for years. I have dry but oily, but redness-prone and for some reason I get allergic reactions to different skincare products. I need help to find products that work for me, as I hate the look of my makeup after I do my skincare on it. However, I am not sure what I am allergic to. I am going to start to use products just on a daily basis, as I have a lot, and I will narrow it down.....but for now, I need some help. My go to skincare routine is what all the influencers recommend. Start off with cleanser, toner, oils/solutions/acids, dew drops(sometimes), eye cream, moisturizer, and then primer. Does this routine look good? My go-to cleansers are the Inkey List's Salicylic Acid Cleanser, which I don't use a lot or Cerave SA Cleanser, which I use in the shower.My go-to toners are the Glow Recipe PHA + BHA toner(Watermelon) or the Tower 28 Toner. I use both, honestly just depends.I have many things for oils/solutions/acids, I have the Caffeine Solution and EGCG from The Ordinary( this one doesn't cause any redness, and it helps my puffy face, which is just a daily occurrence with me), the Hydronacic Acid from the Ordinary, the Soothing and Barrier Support Serum from the Ordinary, Niacinamide 10%+ Zinc 1% from the Ordinary, and the Sacylic Acid 2% Solution from the Ordinary. I usually will use a maximum of two of them per skincare routine, honestly depends.My dew drop is from Glow Recipe, it's the watermelon one.The eye creams I use are the Retinol Eye Cream from the Inkey List and the Caffeine Eye Cream from the Inkey List. I use the Caffeine one religiously as it really helps my eyes.My moisturizers are the Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturizer from the Inkey List, the moisturizer from the Ordinary, and I forget the name of it but it's a blue and white bottle from CeraVe. I have been using the Inkey List more often, and the Ordinary one for my nose, as it gets tissue rashes in the Spring.I use the NYX Plump Right Back Primer. I rarely use the primer, as I only use it if I am doing a full face of makeup. I am not sure why I get the bumps on the bottom of my face in a line around the start of my face from my neck and sometimes around the eye. I also get really flaky on the part between my eyebrows and my forehead. I also did start using the Elf Concealer everyone is talking about, got it in the wrong shade tho. If anyone needs my makeup routine too to also look at and find flaws I can put that here too.
