Hope the month of May has been blossoming beautifully for you, BIC! 🌷🌹🌼 I went on a bit of a beauty shopping spree last month (which, in full transparency, set me on a personal no-spend challenge in May 😅), so I’ve been taking time to really enjoy some of the new additions to my various routines. Some of my favorite products this month are ones I’ve been looking to try for a while (after being influenced by friends, social media, and – of course – fellow Community members). There’s nothing better than when something works just as you imagined it would! Hi @JennORN ! For stubborn eye makeup, I use Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover. It’s just as effective as my former favorite, Lancôme Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover (which can remove pretty much anything), but without the fragrance and high price tag. Sephora doesn’t carry it, but you can buy Gentle Touch directly from Paula’s Choice’s website where they frequently have sales. In fact, they’re having a 20% off sale right now. 😉

@caitbird I always apply oil first, then cream/lotion. I do the same for my face and body. Oils don’t really “seal” things in because they’re not as occlusive as people think. (The exception is mineral oil, a byproduct of petrolatum production.) Oils won’t prevent ingredients in creams/lotions from sinking into skin. That doesn’t mean you can’t apply in the opposite order though. It comes down to personal preference. One pro of applying cream last is that my fingers feel less greasy/oily and I’m less likely to leave grease prints on things afterward (phone screen, tablet screen, light switches, etc.). 😄

I have 4 sisters. My 10 year old sister with amazing skin and no skin problems is obsessed with Bubble, Glow Recipe, and Sol De Janerio, and I bubble and glow recipe myself and it’s amazing i would highly recommend bubble. As well as the Sol De Janerio scents are amazing

May non-beauty haul: Rifle Paper CoI've loved this company's designs for a long time, but this is my first time ordering from them. I want to try to get back into journaling regularly and I've always loved pretty journals and notebooks, so I got three journals and a large notebook. I also got a sticky note set, a set of colored gel pens, and a trinket box (I collect them). The pouch on the bottom right was a GWP.
