I looove Glow Recipe, the Dew Drops are a many times repurchased item.  They give my skin a subtle lit from within glow that goes well with make-up or perfect for a no make-up day, since they give my skin a natural boost.

And I know you can't return anything bought with a Rouge Reward ....and here I go trying something new to me..😅

I was very eager and curious to try this essence toner, and I'm excited to start using this in my morning routine. 🤞

@CynthieLu - I think the Rewards Bazaar is a good way to try something new.  You get a deluxe sample size rather than a foil sample so you get enough to give it a good try.  You don't have to buy a full size and find out you don't like it after a use or two.  OK, technically you got the points by spending money, but you spent the money on something else you already used/are using.  I think it's a decent value, especially if it's something you want to try anyway. 🙂

That's a really good point.  @Titian06  I feel the same.  I would rather try something in a deluxe sample size before investing in it in full size,  especially if it's just a points purchase. 🙂

I’m sensing a pattern forming with what treats I’m picking up from the Rewards Bazaar (other than the $100 Rouge Reward)

 

The red vessel looks pretty, the message beautiful, and the notes sound lovely. The cold throw to this one smells softly of … candle wax. lol Haven’t had a chance to burn it yet; hoping the notes identified come through when lit. Planning on lighting it tomorrow or over the weekend and will come back with an update. 

I’ve taken a peek at the Literie site and oh my, there are some fabulous sounding candles for sale. 😍

@peculiarzmakeup, I've been hoping some of the jasmine notes mentioned might come through but I haven't picked any of that up so far. The powdery scent isn't like a baby powder smell, but more like a powdery floral scent - softer than violet or iris.

UPDATE 3.1.2024

I’m not so sure how I feel about this one. 🤔 There seems to be potential here but it is taking some time for the notes to come through fully. 

Notes (as listed on the candle) - citrus - heliotrope - jasmine 

Citrus scents are often quickly noticeable as is jasmine, but I did not pick up any citrus or jasmine notes when I first lit the candle. Instead my nose picked up the scent of candle wax that was noticeable with the cold throw and the addition of a very mild powdery scent. 

The candle wax scent disappears about half hour into it. After about a couple hours, the faint powder scent is a little more noticeable, as is a faint floral scent - though it isn’t reminiscent of any jasmine notes I’ve smelled before. 

So far, it feels like the notes listed will take some time to develop fully. This one also works better in smaller spaces - the notes are on the delicate side so if a room is too large, the notes will be drowned out. I've moved this candle from the living room to one of the bedrooms and will be interested to see how long it takes to fully blossom.

Agree @curlychiquita! I was hoping that more of the other notes would come through as I made my way though the container but that powdery floral scent is sticking around. If things change, I'll let you know.

I figure I go through candles more quickly than my makeup or skincare @CynthieLu. That'll hopefully be it for now; I'll be saving up for the $100 Rouge Reward. I do like having spending $$. 😉
