Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Is anyone else having issues with the 10x select shampoos and conditioners promo?

for example, if I put the bumble and bumble seaweed shampoo in my cart I get 10x points.  If I add the conditioner, I get about 6x points.  If I take the shampoo out, the conditioner is now back to 10x.

@itscarin I have seen reports on Reddit about 10x multiplier not working correctly when combining products. I’m afraid you might have to place separate orders - or contact CS and hope to get a good rep (I haven’t had luck with them lately). Or you could contact them first and get a paper trail that they would adjust points manually, and then place your order? Sorry for the hassle... Ulta has been dropping some balls.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms!  

I have to vent: Anyone else have trouble with the Ulta $15 promo?

I don’t think I’m ever doing this again.  I think I forgot why I don’t do this more often. First, they don’t let you purchase in multiples of $75, so you have to do 50 + 25; and then they go out of their way to try to stiff you on the $15 promo. I’m talking to customer service and I provided my email, phone number, name, order number, and now they’re asking for a confirmation number. Like what?  Oh and they wanted screenshots of the Ulta promo regarding the $15 gift card.  I am not sure why you would put the onus on the customer to provide documentation.  If I didn’t have a screenshot would they have told me to kick rocks?

@itscarin I am sorry about your hassle. It looks like this time around the gift card promo didn’t work for the full advertised 5/8 through 5/11 window, cutting off a day (or two!) short. Like @RGbrown, if I don’t see the eReward populate in CashStar cart, I don’t follow through with the order… I hate that you and @treestar86 might have missed out on the $15. 😢 Oh Ulta.

You can buy a $75 card, you just change the amount at the top instead of selecting from the boxes.

 

I saw a few reports of issues with the the promo this time though, and the one time I looked on Friday, it didn't seem to be working. The $15 reward should show in your cart before you checkout...if it doesn't, you aren't getting it, and it will be a hassle 😖

This one is set up weird, it's got the add to cart button but also the shop eligible items button 🤔 It doesn't add to cart automatically when I shop the eligible items, so I'm assuming it's is indeed meant to be free with any $60 purchase, but perhaps that could change. In any case, it works on anything for now...
