Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

February birthday selections are up! The coupon codes and multiplier should hit a bit later today. What are you getting, my fellow Feb babes? I'm torn right now...as little as I care for sheet masks, I'm curious about a $15 one, but I've also really been enjoying the DHC powder cleanser of late, and wouldn't mind trying Dermalogica (how do I have no samples of it, now that I'm curious? 😅)

@RGbrown I'm not a huge mask person as I prefer the ones you can just wash off, however I did get my free mask last month and it's actually a pretty nice mask. It didn't leave my skin sticky (which is my main thing with face masks - I always feel sticky afterwards yuck) and there was a lot of serum in there. As far as if it did anything I'm not 100% sure. It did help hydrate my skin and calm a little bit of redness from this super cold weather we're having. For a fun night of just pamper and Netflix (or Disney, Hulu, Prime, etc - why are there so many freaking streaming services now??) I thought it was a nice little gift. Just my 2 cents as I'm sure that whatever you pick will be fabulous. Happy Birthday! 🎂

@RGbrown I forgot to mention that I've tried that Dermalogical exfoliator and I didn't care for it. It smelled weird and didn't make my dry skin happy at all. Which kinda sticks as I'd heard good things about it. I'm sticking with my Amorepacific for now.

@ohheyitscindyk that's what my brother in law said after they cut the cable a few months ago. It is just becoming a hassle with having to jump in between services to watch X show and then make sure you buy the newest one so you have your show (I'm looking at you The Office). I think cable and dish are about to have a rebound soon.

@RGbrown  speaking of birthday coupons...I used mine on the dermadoctor kakdu C serum, which appears to be an extra 50% off, making it 75% off (in addition to the wasabi serum).  it has mixed reviews, but I figured for $13.75, not too bad a gamble.  has anyone tried this, or the wasabi serum?

@RGbrown I got the mask, since I picked Jan. for my bday month when I signed up, lol (the 2x pts. worked well w/the 21 days of beauty thing).  haven't tried it yet, but It says it contains a whole bottle of the serum, so I was wondering if I could just squeeze it out?? 🤔 lol.  I already have the dermalogica one and don't need more mascara, which was the other Jan. gift. funny I just saw the dhc powder one yesterday and thought it looked nice...

That's funny...my Sephora account is set up with Jan for some reason; I guess I screwed up when entering it. Meanwhile, I low-key dislike having Feb on my account at Ulta...it's the worst month for sales and deals, and I will probably buy next to nothing, rendering the multiplier almost completely useless. 😐

@RGbrown bummer! ☹️  it's too bad they don't let you change it.  I thought they at least had some vday deals, like 5x on perfume?  at least, I tend to buy perfume a lot lol.

anyway, if you (or anyone lol) likes glamglow, they have the best birthday deal on their site when you sign up for emails...get a free (full size) mask when you spend $59! so, that's basically b1g1 free!  I know they're at ulta now, but you can't beat that deal! 🤗

Yep, it started in January! The drawback is that the gift and the $10 off (if you qualify for it) are separate codes, so you have to use them in separate transactions, but at least online is an option now!

I received the Lancôme Advanced Genifique Sheet Mask within a GWP set last year and I was unimpressed with the results. I honestly did not see any effect from it @RGbrown .

@Loretta55 I agree -- I bought the sheet mask as part of this digital campaign for influenster a few years ago.  I never got reimbursed by influencer because they said my paypal wasn't properly set up (that's bs).  But anyway, the mask was very ho hum.

That said, i've had samples of the microexfoliant before, and IDK, it's dry sand you have to mix with water.  Very difficult to apply correctly.  Free is free but I'd never actually buy this.  Maybe someone else has the magic tip for how to mix this right and make it work though?

@itscarin have you gotten much from them?  I signed up a while ago, but didn't really start 'doing' it until a few months ago.  been pleased so far!!  I just got my first full-size item, a philosophy perfume!! 😍🤗

@treestar86 Nice!  I signed up in maybe 2016 or 2017, and I have received some nice packages from them.  The nicest thing I got from them was like a whole set of drunk elephant products.  It was about $250 worth of full-sized items and I got that from them in December of 2019.  I can't remember all the things I've received, but some of them are: a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette (it sucked); a bare minerals concealer stick (also bad); a guerlain face oil; biossance face oil (which I actually like and use); and a package of kleenex.  I have no idea how I got roped into the kleenex campaign.  

I haven't gotten very many snaps lately or questions.  I see a lot of people on reddit talking about how they're trying to increase their odds of getting selected for a campaign by filling out a bunch of reviews and interacting on the app, however, from my experience, that stuff doesn't get you in for campaigns.  I never do reviews on the app unless required by a campaign.

@civ2ru Free is free.  It's just that there's no way in which I can really get excited about a box of kleenex.  Now if it was paper towels, my girls would've gone nuts: both the cat and dog love tearing them apart when given the opportunity!

@itscarin I am a self-proclaimed paper towel snob. It's Bounty or nothing. NOTHING. And when a batch doesn't perform like it should, the manufacturer gets an earful. 😁😂
