Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Woohoo! I was debating whether to wait for Friday but last Friday was disappointing.

If you are looking for a brush canister: I was intrigued by that Mac brush canister so I looked up some video reviews. It looks like a practical thing to have if you travel with a lot of brushes, are a MUA, or just want a dust free way to store your brushes. Pros: easy to clean, adjustable height, see-through Cons: cheapy plastic. A cheap alternative to this: I just picked up a clear plastic retractable holder from Dollar Tree for this exact purpose. It has the same pros, I think it's actually well made and durable but I'm guessing it's a smaller diameter which might be better if you have fewer brushes to transport. Also the $1 one is pretty thick plastic, it might be more rugged, and the top essentially locks in place because it's a screw-on top/adjustment. The cons would be that this one is pretty tall already and would not work as well as a brush cup, or two as in the case of the MAC canister. But for a $1 I'm very happy with it. Thanks for posting @Buootiful! I'm still intrigued and on the hunt for a good beefy fan blush so I'm definitely tempted and getting a canister is a nice bonus.

Cool, thanks! You're right,it does look cheapy  😞  I guess the canister will be good to keep my dirty brushes in before they get cleaned. @alexalicious 

I read some good reviews of the fan brush that you can multi-task with this for powder, minimal blending of blush and contour.

@Buootiful @alexalicious I love the MAC canisters. They are perfect for travel and I store my brushes in there. I was sad that MAC stop selling it but am glad it’s a gwp now. They had 2 sizes a large and a small. I’m guessing the free one is the small. The large canister can hold a lot of brushes.  They are plastic but I have had mine for about 9 years with no issues.

Oh my, I wasn't sure what I was looking at first. That bag has an uncanny flesh-like appearance in those photos. But thanks for posting @Buootiful, it's certainly a larger bag than I expected, that box is 6" x 6" x 6" for reference.

Keep an eye on the clearance section, they loaded it up again. I guess they are cleaning out the warehouse or doing inventory because a lot of holiday stuff showed up again from NARS, UD, TF, Tarte, Buxom, etc. It's weird to see this stuff at TJM and Nordstrom rack and then back at Ulta again. There were a bunch of stupidly cheap things but they were OOS by the time I got checkout so you might have to be really quick on some things. Happy hunting.

I'm a little late opening packages sometimes, and just opened my order from a month ago containing the 4pc buxom and 4pc nudestix gwp's...there was an item missing from each, the sharpener and 1 of the buxom glosses. 😞  not a huge deal as I already have a bunch of the glosses, but the sharpener would have been nice since, since it was my first nudestix item.  just wondering if that happened to anyone else. (I looked through past pages, but didn't see anything).
