March has made its way to us, and to celebrate, we’re breaking out the beauty brackets for our second annual Makeup Madness Challenge in the BIC! For the next few weeks, eight popular makeup categories will go head-to-head in a showdown to snag the title of 2022 Community Champion makeup category. It’s up to YOU to vote on the winner … and share some tried-and-true beauty recs along the way (because why not?!). 😉

We kicked off round 1 with a matchup that sparked serious passion last year: lipstick vs. mascara. 🔥 Mascara ended up taking the crown in 2021, but who knows what will happen this year… especially since we’ll be adding new makeup categories to the mix in future rounds. 😏 Stay tuned!

@TeamBIC Mascara!  I use Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect - or, at least I did when I used to wear makeup.  I miss mascara, but haven't missed taking it off.

How many mascaras can you really have and actively use?? Like, they can't all really produce that different of a look! Although maybe it's just bc I'm a glasses user and think mascara is lost on me lol

I also wear glasses @sharelleh. I received PAT McGRATH LABS Dark Star Volumizing Mascara 0.43 fl oz / 13 mL in a Sephora Favorites kit and it changed my mind about finding my HG mascara. I stocked up on it during National Eyelash Day.

Oh dear. Lipstick vs. mascara? I enjoy lipstick more, but I think my features probably benefit more from mascara. So I guess I have to resort to mascara.

Ooh March Madness! This got heated last year, but I am here for it! Team Mascara 2 years in a row, though I will say I have been loving more lip products compared to last year so this was a harder decision lol. 

I love so many mascaras, but one that I never see get the hype it deserves is the CLINIQUE Bottom Lash Mascara Black . The little bottom lashes need love too people!
