BIC is the place to talk about beauty!  There are lots of fun threads, from mask to makeup (and even photo A Year of Beauty- Photography Challenge ) challenges all the way to pet paradise.  In my early days, I kinda wanted to talk to everyone, but I didn't know what to talk about, I just knew I loved makeup and had found my people.

With threads like Monthly Favorites: May 2025 Edition! Community Favorite Concealers: Tag your Holy Grails!  , Beauty Pet Peeves 2 I feel the most comfortable when chiming in because I can talk about makeup.  I figured, hey, let's open up some discourse amongst ourselves; a thread with getting to know you questions could be kind of fun.  (And, I still get to talk about makeup.)

I started writing down what I had playing a few days/nights this week and ummmm ... I'm all over the place. 😅

From my "On The Go!" makeup capsule for this week, it was NARS Powermatte Long-Lasting Lipstick Thunder Kiss - 115, with and without Tower 28 Beauty OneLiner Lip Liner + Eyeliner + Cheek Pencil Work Of Art

Two of those songs go together, but yeah it's a mix with a wide range @itsfi .  I'm also feeling that lip combo, is thunder kiss rose mauve or a brown mauve?

@danielledanielle, Thunder Kiss is a deep rosy-red mauve. Some days, I feel like it pulls too rosy on my lips so I’ve tried to tone down the rose undertones a little with the Tower 28 liner. Here are swatches; the combo is on my lips.

Excuse the dry lips & shiny chin. It’ll be a scrub and mask day tomorrow. 😆

There She Goes - Six Pence None The Richer

Specifically their cover and only when I’m getting ready in girl-mode. I don’t have any clue for guy-mode.

My current lip go-to combo is any Peripera Ink Velvet lip tint and Quo Glowy Lip Balm or Covergirl Clean Fresh Tinted Lip Balm in clear. I’ve beeen using this combo a lot for the past few weeks.

Ok so my favorite 90s sitcom song is the song that plays during the parent trap when the girls are learning how to do the secret handshake 😂 I don’t know what it’s called but it’s a whole vibe. 

My favorite go to lip combo is the fresh Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator and then Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine Sweet Mint - sheer clear it’s my fav summer Fridays gloss!

Oh jeez this one makes me laugh trying to think of something. My mind sure goes blank a lot. And I love music. I'm gonna say Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard. That song just gets me in a good dancy mood.

My lipstick coordinates with my makeup, which coordinates with my clothes.  Thus, I wear something different every time I wear makeup.  My day-to-day nonmakeup lip product is LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm Peach

Happy 2024, everyone! 

What did you get for Christmas? (or if you don't  celebrate, Boxing Day/End of year sale?) Beauty wise I got 4 nail polishes and the Otherland Boudoir Rogue candle that is to die for. I'm not joking, I need that in a perfume asap. 

My goal for this year is work on my pan it project and shopping my stash. Only buying what I need.
