Wondering if the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks are worth hunting down? Thoughts?

I haven’t checked out Chanel’s brow products @TraceyEB . I’ll definitely have to. Getting the right formula and shade is so tricky! I’m curious about Lisa’s too.

Looks warmer doesn’t it @WinglessOne . I think I’m safe from this release tho the shadows are tempting. Trying not too. I do not have enough eyelids for all the darn shadows I have these days. Sigh. You?

@Sunnysmom  Yeah, the new red’s definitely warmer than Ribbon, now that promo model photos are up. I don’t have Ribbon yet—I have Velvet Ribbon but not this formula’s Ribbon. Since I love this formula and expect I’ll be decluttering some old reds this year, I ordered a refill of Ribbon and the new mauve brown shade… checking order summary email… ah, shade Rae. 

I know plenty of folks love Lisa’s powder eyeshadows, but I’ve had too much trouble with them to consider buying the new palette. So that’s an easy pass for me.

Oh nice @WinglessOne , I like the new Ribbon. Will be fun to see Rae, hope you like it ! Yup, her shadows are tricky not sure why. I have done ok with the last release, forgetting the name as well, but the super shimmer and sparkles don’t work for me! Oh boy I need to do some serious decluttering of lips soon. Dreading the sadness!

Lisa made mention that new lip s are coming in May along with the blushes coming back! Finally! Sounds like a new lip formula?

I don’t know @Ispend2much6 , maybe?! It sounds more like more actual lipsticks from her post but maybe it’s more! Or added shades of gloss too, who knows!

In addition to @Mochapj ‘s lovely pic here are my swatches of Bohemian Cherry. It looks much brighter on my arm than on my lips sadly! My lips are pretty pale so the purple really comes out but if you love that then you’ll love this shade. I will make it work with a wine pencil. I still miss Myth lip, my favorite because it’s got more red to the wine! Oh well. Whine wine. Lol. When I asked about a similar shade I was told new stuff was coming so maybe there will be a new iteration of it. Hope so! @Titian06 @TraceyEB , @WinglessOne - you probably picked this up by now as well. 😊

@Sunnysmom, thanks for the tag! Love the swatch shade though you're the second person to mention the purple hue on the lips. Glad it can work better with a wine lip liner! Some of Lisa's deepest (non-red) shades are the trickiest for me to wear.

I know @TraceyEB , it is tricky for me.  Looks amazing on @WinglessOne and @Mochapj but it’s definitely more purple on me. I need the red base to it! Maybe the new colors will be better suited for us!

@Sunnysmom  Yep, mine’s on its way: tracking says it’s in my city now, so it might get delivered tomorrow. It’s traveling with the Burnt Umber shade of Kitten Lash Mascara. 👍

Sorry to hear it’s not quite the shade you wanted. I’ll be shocked if Lisa doesn’t bring Myth back. Pretty sure the first thing I ever bought from her was a 3-piece Myth set (Velvet lipstick, lip liner, and gloss), now that I think about it. Anyway, good to hear new things are coming! Still hoping for a blush relaunch!

I like it @WinglessOne , just don’t love it on its own. It’s workable of course and I like the formula. Oh well. So comfy. I’m sure you’ll love it! That crazy mascara in black has really become one of my favorites. I love it on its own which is rare as I always layer my mascaras! I’d all but forgotten about the blush! Yes me too!! Great formula less than stellar packaging. Lol. Obviously. 🥹 I think Myth was my first set too come to think of it! Funny and typical since you’re my lip twin! 💞

@Sunnysmom  I’m glad Bohemian Cherry’s still workable for you! And I’m sure we’ll both jump right on Myth if Lisa releases it as a refill in the new formula. ❤️ 

Kitten Lash is one of my favorite black mascaras too. It’s so good! Hopefully the burnt umber shade’s just as good. And that dang blush tube… I love my LE blush, when I can actually get it outta that tube. 😅 I keep meaning to move it to a different container, but I’ll have to cut the non-nozzle end of the tube to get it all out. Someday!

@WinglessOne, my Lisa Eldridge pink blush burst the end open. I decanted to a container...much easier to use. I'm also in the Kitten Lash fan club!

Did you guys contact them about it @TraceyEB @WinglessOne ? Mine did as well and they will replace them when they come back in May! Excited. Beautiful formula.

@Sunnysmom, that's good to know!! I depotted the blush to a jar and I find it easy to use from there. If the quality of the blush declines in quality, I will contact them. Glad to hear they are redoing the packaging. I have a second blush and I usually have to use a safety pin to clear tip. Bobbi Brown figured out blush in a tube (not released in North America) but Lisa's blush is thicker.

I should have done that @TraceyEB but mine was just a messy disaster. Lol Tubes are tricky, good for BB!

@Sunnysmom  Oooh, I don’t think I knew the blushes are definitely returning in May! Gotta keep an eye out for that! Also, good tip about asking for a replacement! My tube hasn’t burst open yet, and I’d feel wrong about asking for a free replacement for something that’s not damaged. But that’s a great option for anyone whose blush tube is damaged! (I assume Lisa’s not offering to replace undamaged blush tubes at no extra cost, unless she considers the packaging defective—which it kinda is, but anyway.)
