I made an in store purchase today which qualified me for VIB status,

Usually if your in-store purchase qualifies you for VIB status, the
cashier should have given you. You could go in-store and ask for it.
They should be able to scan your card and see your newly upgrad...

Yes it is a regular thing now! I never get any of the samples I pick.
The worst thing though, is last year I redeemed my birthday gift (the
Tarte set if I recall correctly) and they sent me a mens jack black
shaving cream 😞
