A comparison of Silvered Topaz, Supernouveau and Badass

I ended up not liking Badass on me. The brown reads very purple on my skin and emphasizes dark circles. Bummer!

In looking at the Badass Quad ingredients...it's unlike any other palette from TF I own.

Different from the wet-dry prisma; from the usual powder formula, both current and old; and from the Frostfire Extreme palette.

I'm baffled, but also very curious to test more. So far it's performing better with synthetic fibers than natural.

@Nuwc1998 @Mochapj Thx for posting. Ugh I still can’t decide if I want to pick this up. The colors not that unique not sure if I can tell the diff if I use combination of other TF palettes that I owned. Right now I’m leaning to not since I don’t own any synthetic eyeshadow brushes ❤️

@Nuwc1998 I thought I also noticed it had a different ‘made in’ country than usual (not Belgium or Italy) My SA mentioned at the beginning of the year that there had been a manufacturing switch; perhaps that accounts for a different formula? ETA: my mistake, it isn’t this quad that was made in France... I’m not sure which of my recent TF purchases it was now, but I specifically noticed it and was surprised.

Badass - stray observations; the lacquer stains, the black shade has multicoloured shimmers and the grey is very similar to the one in titanium smoke

@Mochapj these are the famous arm swatches i am waiting for. 😉 Thank for posting. What are your initial thoughts? I wore Frost Fire again yesterday.  I hate that darn lavender shade a bit less and still love everything else.  So good.

@blackkitty2014 I haven’t worn it yet (that’s on my list for today) but from swatching it has a strange texture. The shadows feel very dense and nearly moist. As NUC said above, I think it will probably perform better with synthetics than natural hair and that would make sense since the brand switched their brushes a while back.

I don’t know what to make of the lacquer, tbh. It felt quite heavy on my arm. My SA told me it doesn’t completely dry down but that it works well as a base for the quad... will try that and let you know.

@Seymore3  @blackkitty2014 - I agree!  Most of the swatches, the three dark colors look virtually the same.  Here you can actually see the difference.
