I find a lot of super bright pinks like this look really scary when swatched, but are almost universally flattering/brightening on the skin.

@Mochapj Oh I agree - one of my first "bold" blushes looked like Pepto Bismol but it was so flattering on.  I think shades like the one in the cool palette just don't work on me because I have a lot of natural rosiness in my cheeks and I think those shades either amplify my rosiness (in an unflattering way) or perhaps compete with it and look disharmonious.  It's much easier for me to use blush when I use a full coverage foundation, but I typically stick with a light base or just concealer.

However this is just my current theory. I haven't ruled out the possibility that I'm just a dunce at applying blush 😉

The blush was the deciding factor in me picking up the warm palette.  The eye shadows don't matter as much to me (if at all), as long as they are neutral enough so I am not a complete fool.

But the cool blush looked like it might look a bit off on my skin tone.  I like it in your pictures though.

I liked purple undertone everything.  If I wore eyeshadows enough, that might have played a bigger role in my decision..

BP's swatches show up much darker (and redder) than Temptalia's.  But I am glad that the finishes of each shade has been noted, that helps.

Thanks @mochapj! I don't like any of them. But I find it really hard to judge a colour based on her swatches. I swear some of the mattes look metallic on her lips? The only one I kind of liked on her was Graham...

Another look with the warm palette and Seadragon with apologies for the huge pic. Hard to capture the sparkle on the lower lid. Love both products!

Thanks, @ChristalM! You should try Seadragon is such a beautiful shade. I have a million plum shades and recently declined adding more but THIS shade was too special to pass up.
