A quick look with Virgin Orchid. I’m still fighting off a cold and this ticked all the boxes of what I needed today; quick, easy and brightening.

I used all the shades except the white in the left corner. The rose gold was applied all over the lid. The burgundy was smoked along the upper lash line and dragged into a tiny cat eye on the outer v. The lilac taupe was pressed into the inner corner to brighten, and also brushed over the burgundy in the crease to provide definition.

I'm really enjoying these but am definitely looking forward to the 6 new 'regular' finish quads that are coming out to replace the ones they've discontinued.  My SA was saying Holts should be getting them in mid-November as one of the global artists for the brand will be giving a seminar around Black Friday related to the new quads.

@flonkerton no worries. I posted a photo previously of the new quad structures but I was asked by the person I got it from to take it down.

The quads that have been discontinued are: Silvered Topaz, Lilac Dream, Starry Night. I've also heard others mention their SA said Titanium Smoke is being d/c but I asked my SA and she said no. It's possible the d/c list varies regionally.

The photo I posted showed the Winter quad releases. It showed these 2 wet/dry quads (Virgin Orchid, Daydream) as well as 5 other variations separately, which was explained to me as delineating the 'regular' finish vs the wet/dry finish.

The 5 other quads that were listed in the photo were Supernouveau (which seemed similar to Silvered Topaz), African Violet (a gold/purple mix), Pretty Baby (a pastel blue, purple and beige mix), Leopard Sun (a gold mix), and Photosynthesex (a blue, yellow, burgundy and khaki mix) 

That's only 5 and when I picked up these wet/dry quads last week my SA was very specific about there being 6 new quads coming, so I'm not sure what the last one is...?

@MochapjTitanium Smoke/Last Dance/Silvered Topaz/Starry Night/Lilac Dream are all being retired, that's correct. There are only 7 new quads coming to all retailers, 2 of which are already available (Daydream and Virgin Orchid).

The sixth quad mentioned is going to be exclusive to a certain retailer with different packaging, formula, and effect on the lids. That's all I'm allowed to say for now 🙂
