@Mochapj  or anyone- Is this a different black orchid than the one that was available in 2013?  That one is a deep berry wine.  Thanks!

@Ispend2much6 @Sunnysmom  yes, I definitely had the old one and was expecting the 2025 version to be the same but it seems they've changed the shade.  

From what I saw of the 'Black Orchid' release this time, all 3 lipsticks that are part of the collection seem to be much less vampy than the black orchid series used to be.  The Runway Rose shade that they sent me in error initially was also a lighter rose mauve, and the third shade is like a brownish nude.

Yup @Mochapj it clearly looks like they have redefined what Black Orchid shade is now. It was very dark and vampy and much more purple from what I recall. My Black Dahlia had more red to it. I’m sure it’ll show up on other retailers however if you really want it @Ispend2much6 . I’ll try and remember to tag you if I see it. The new shade looks so vibrant and pretty!

Will do and I would also start stalking NM, BG, Bloomies and others @Ispend2much6 lol. Can’t imagine it’ll be too much longer before it’s released out in the wild. 😆 Nordstrom wasn’t sure they were getting it which I found odd. The SA maybe didn’t have the correct info. Someone on here may know release dates but I do not at this point. 😊

@Mochapj @Ispend2much6 @Sunnysmom  Thx you Mocha for the beautiful swatches. I don’t have the older version of Black Orchid or do I. I have probably 100 of TF lipsticks and kinda lazy to look but I like 2025 color (both blush and lipsticks) more since they’re right down my alley. Hopefully they will make it to regular retailers soon. For sure I will get the blush. I like TF cream blushes. I panned 1 cream blush before and about to pan another one 😘

It must be @Ispend2much6 . I feel like I have/had it. Or maybe mine is Black Dahlia.  Do you? I’m sure @Mochapj will know for sure or @blackkitty2014 etc. This is what I recall it looked like which you probably saw too? Courtesy Lolassecretbeautyblog.

@Sunnysmom  Thank you!!  Those three shades are so close!  I never had any TF lipsticks, except for free sample ones. lol  It looks so pretty on Mocha, but it's sold out so I'm safe.

@Sunnysmom I ordered Black Orchid with this but they sent me the wrong lipstick by accident (runway rose)

I am currently waiting for them to send me the right one 😵‍💫
