@Sunnysmom  I didn't pick any up this time because I just decluttered my lippies and I still have soooooo many lip products that I really need to use before I buy more LOL. I have 6 other Tom Ford lippies and they are some of my all time favorites. But these are hard to pass up.

@Mochapj what do you do to me 😂🤣 I think Tom needs to pay you. 😘 Gorgeous lip swatches! I want all 3. Did you try the perfume? Curious to hear what you think about the Rose perfume. I just received the Discovery set about an hour ago. They’re potent which is good. I have to think about which one I like the most. Amalfi is super strong. De Chine is very green and De Russie is the only one bears resemblance of classic TF perfume line. They’re very unique. I think they did a good job. Not sure I will like them as much as the classic one like Noir de Noir though

I received my discovery set last week but it took me until the weekend to try them all.

Rose d'Amalfi was the one I expected to like the most of the 3, based on the notes. I do like it (am wearing it again today) but I find on me it is quite similar to a combo I occasionally wear of Rose Prick + F Fabulous. I had anticipated it to be the one I bought a full bottle of and had preordered one with my SA before I found out the discovery set would be available here. Now that I know how similar it is, I probably won't bother getting a full size. I also don't get much citrus when I wear it, which was a bit disappointing.

Rose de Chine I did not expect to like at all because of the peony but I agree, it is very green and quite beautiful. I like it a lot, although I don't get a ton of rose notes from it. It was the biggest surprise in the set for me and the one I am most likely to order a full bottle of, though I will wear it a few more times first to make sure.

Rose de Russie I thought I would like (and I also agree it is the most like classic TF) but on me it is too peppery and harsh in a way I don't enjoy. I find after a while it gets sort of berry-ish and jammy and reminds me more of rosehips than actual roses. It's a shame because I love leather and woods and the bottle with that deep magenta liquid is gorgeous, but what can you do.

I should also note that I lost much of my sense of smell in late November and I've only just started being able to smell things again (for a long while everything I smelled all seemed like a weird sort of bleach-y scent) so I'm not sure if how I'm interpreting the fragrances is entirely accurate yet or not 😄
