Skin Illuminating Duo in Incandescent from thedailydoseofmkup IG. I asked if the pink has a shade shifting property (see the bottom swatch taken in sunlight) and was told it has a texture that reflects light. What a gorgeous product!!

LOL @Sunnysmom !
I'm actually quite confounded by this palette (as I am with the brown Flicker one as well)
The pink seems too shimmery to be a blush (to me, anyways) and too pigmented to be a highlight. I just don't know what to make of it. I'm looking forward to checking it out in person but my best guess is maybe it was designed to highlight deep skin tones.
Whereas the brown one makes no sense to me at all. My SA told me it's a highlight and contour palette but the brown shade is sparkly and I thought sparkle would be counterintuitive to contouring.
@MochapjRemember, the original Moodlight was designed not as a highlight/contour, nor highlight/bronzer, but to mimic the two most flattering shades of light on a face: daylight and candlelight. As such, if you speak to any veteran TF SAs, they'll tell you that they were trained originally to use the product all over the face, where most symmetrical and beautiful, as a kind of illuminating finishing powder. Only in recent years have consumers tried to box the product into certain categories - but that's never really been what TF has been about.
Perhaps it's most effective to consider that same train of thought for this: these two deeper extensions are the most flattering kinds of light for medium and deep skin tones, respectively.
Notice also that TF has always encouraged luminous products, which is probably why we're getting all of these Prisma pieces recently. Flat powders have never been the way - even the original cheek colour formulation had sparkle, as you remember.
@Nuwc1998 thank you for the feedback. I'm aware what the original was intended for, I just didn't find these 2 extensions to 'fit' within that same ideology, especially since my SA mentioned Flicker being intended as a highlight/contour product.
That said, which of these new shades would you say is for medium skintones, in your opinion?
@Mochapj
Your SA likely mentioned that only because it's the "simplest" way to sell it. When the TF site is fully updated, look to see if the description changes. I doubt it will.
The pink tone would be for medium and the deep tone for deep. In a certain sense of aesthetics (and I realize this comes down to personal preference and what one wants to do in the privacy of her own home), a deep contour looks muddy on medium skintones, while a blush tone is that "optimal" light shade to mimic. For deep tones, many blushes look ashy or fake, so the "optimal" shades are a deep highlight (which Reflects Gilt is decidedly not) and a multidimensional deep shade.
@Sunnysmom my opinion on it goes back and forth between something I didn't know I needed vs something nobody asked for 😄
I guess I'll have to wait until I can see it in person.
wow! this is really gorgeous!
@seekingtruth you could try asking the account who posted it on IG where she got it.
Although I tried asking her where she bought something once and she blocked me, fair warning.
@Mochapj Thanks for the heads up. I think I’ll just keep checking the retailers 😉

@seekingtruth, Barney's has it for pre-order but the images are reversed. Beautylish sells it but it's out of stock. I thought Neimans had it (the PINK option) but someone told me they got Flicker instead. Should be available at Nordstrom and Saks as well (they both have Flicker) but not listed yet.
Crop from Michele Wang's Double Indemnity review again 😉

@blackkitty2014, thank you! I went and watched
the video. You're going to laugh at me but after all of my hemming and hawing about Suspicion, I just ordered Double Indemnity. 😆 I realized that I already own colors so similar to those in Body Heat and Suspicion.
@curlychiquita I think Double Indemnity will be the star. It is so gorgeous. I have it here with me but haven’t used it yet. I hope we both love it 😉
