Thx @Mochapj.  This year, TF release is weird.   I spot African Sun on Nordstrom.com but nothing else (They havent even restocked Virgin Violet and Daydream).  I hope to pick up the Soleil palette next week at Sephora 😉

@blackkitty2014 I believe that's intentional.

My SA was telling me a few months back that they're trying to make the brand more 'exclusive' this year by only releasing certain items in specific places. IMO it just makes it more annoying, not more enticing 😄

With the new quads I've noticed certain ones available at Blue Mercury, others available at Bloomingdales, and then Sephora has the wet/dry ones. Nobody seems to have them all available.

I wish they'd acknowledge what is in each collection in its entirety so I could decide if I want to track any of it down. Don't even get me started on the Satin Mattes and how half of them have been missing since they launched in August...

Patience will win out. Rest assured, 7 of the new quads will be released to all authorized retailers. That release date has not happened yet, so no retailer will have all available until then. The launch calendar all your SAs have mark when the items should hit counter - anything that hits beforehand, such as Daydream and Virgin Orchid, is only a benefit to the consumer.

The Satin Mattes became a staggered launch likely due to production issues. This was certainly the case for the 3 missing Girls, which we knew would be delayed prior to the Boys and Girls launch (which is why the full sets were also delayed).

Winter Soleil has also not released yet, so nothing will have been advertised in its entirety. Again, .com retailers tend to put up banners preemptively, which will show only some pieces. This is not indicative of exclusivity of product and, though frustrating, is also only a generous benefit to the consumer.

Finally (and unfortunately), Sephora will tend to acquire things last across authorized retailers. This is predominately because TF collection pieces will land on-counter before hitting online; typically the boutiques will have items a week or two early, followed by the other luxury retailers. Because TF gondolas are not prevalent in most brick-and-mortar Sephora locations and the majority of product from the line sold is online, the pieces will only show up once the online wave occurs – if that stream of thought makes sense. Remember, the TF line provides a luxury experience to its customers – which can be difficult to provide in Sephora locations – so it will always make sense that, bar exclusive product, the luxury retailers will receive the product slightly faster.

The new glow drops are a different formula than the shimmer shots - they’re a gel fluid, so they mix better and dry down without a tackiness. They have more sparkle than the shimmer shots IMO, but not in a texture-emphasizing capacity.

Now that I am looking at them....some of these new TF quads look very, very similar to the new Nars quads. I was considering getting Leopard Sun but it looks very similar to Nars Bayadere, which I have and absolutely LOVE. And the Nars quads are cheaper!

I've been checking daily and was too busy this morning and now it's OOS. 🙁

I was hoping to use my $100 reward card ( the I redeemed points for) on it before it expires in November. 

I have Enchanted so I've decided to skip VO.
