@blackkitty2014 as requested, eye look using Daydream.

In the closeup 2 of the shades sort of look like one tone but in the full face I think it's possible to see them more distinctly. I used 3 of 4 shades in the quad (no bright purple today) and I'm happy with how it turned out. I used the deep blue grey (bottom left) all over the lid, the lightest shade (top left) in my inner corner and blended the midtone lilac (bottom right) into the inner third of my lid. I did use a warm brown single in my crease to keep it from looking too heavy or dark.

The bottom right shade in Daydream shares some similarity in effect as the 'special' pink that's in Enchanted (top right). This midtone lilac is not purely a metallic finish like the other 3 shades, but has a lot of tiny microglitter in it that can either be applied like a traditional shadow or patted on top and gives a really beautiful twinkling finish. To the best of my knowledge (although it's been a while since I've used my other wet/dry quads) I think only Enchanted and now Daydream contain a shadow with this type of finish of metallic + microglitter.

I think it's one of the best quads they've put out in a long time. It's definitely up there with Cognac Sable and Burnished Amber for me 🙂

It's also just really refreshing to see what with all the warm tones the industry has been inundating us with lately.

@Mochapj I actually don’t own any TF shadow, so I’m definitely considering this. I haven’t had good experiences in the past with purple shadows...they either seem patchy or turn muddy, but this looks very high quality.

@PrettyPaint I've read purples are notoriously difficult to formulate. Not sure why that is, but it seems to be something a lot of brands mention.

If you have the ability to check this one out in person, I'd definitely recommend it. TF has done a lot of purple quads over the years (I'm guessing it's a personal fave shade of his) but this one seems to be by far the best one they've done.

I think it's a beautiful quad and I don't think you'll be disappointed by it at all. I also think it's a lot more wearable than it might first look in the pans. I did mess around with it a little last night just to test it out and the 'bright' purple isn't nearly as garish as the pan makes it seem.

I'm not sure if it is, but I hope they keep it in the permanent range.

Enchanted (left) vs Virgin Orchid - the main differences in case it isn't immediately apparent from the photo - the first shade in the quads is different. In Enchanted it's a ballet slipper pink and in VO it's a metallic white. The second shade is also different. In Enchanted it is a pale, baby pink with tiny micro glitters and in VO it is a slightly warmer mauve tone with rose gold shimmer. Overall Enchanted is more of a true metallic and VO is a softer, more satin metallic.

The bottom two shades are nearly indistinguishable between the two palettes; if I look really hard the burgundy in Enchanted seems to have a more cool toned sheen, but the actual colours of them seems the same.
