last year I got up at 6am EST (this is my regular wake up time) and all shades were available.

Elles - I would recommend you wait for the release.  There will be many more reviews and swatches online at that time that will help your decision.  If you can visit a counter, better still.

The reason I say wait is because this is a new brand for you, and a new collection.  Most of the people in this thread have bought TF lipsticks already, and have varying degrees of familiarity with the brand, formula, and the L&B collection.  Since these are spendy lipsticks, it is good to have some background before jumping in.  That would be my suggestion.

This collection is 50 lipsticks - many will be restocked even after Thanksgiving even if a few shades are difficult to come by.  You will definitely find plenty to choose from.

greenchilli makes a great point. most of the L&Bs will be available long after the release. it all depends on whether you want a shade that is in high demand or not.

Thank you for your suggestion! I wasn't sure if/how quickly the L&Bs would be restocked.  I was leaning towards the SA route because even though I only bought my first TF lipstick this summer, I now own at least 10 plus some other TF products. Needless to say....I love TF 🙂   I was thinking it might be beneficial to establish a relationship with a SA for future releases.

I am sure many colours will be restocked before Christmas and later.  But just a heads up anyway....

I called my SA at Neimans and am going in to see the shades this week.  They haven't sold out of anything yet....so probably depends where...

Okay guys - I have now swatched Jake and Drake as well.  So you should see all 25 swatches of the 2015  new L&B in this thread.

Top to bottom (wrist to elbow):

1. Jay

2. Theo

3. Jake

4. Drake

Drake looks like Jay, but they are not.  Drake is lighter and a bit pinky-mauve, Jay is a deeper purple.

Formula is very different.  The TF formula - I find superior and is my favourite lip formula.

In terms of finish, the TF ones have a slight sheen as well.

If you guys know what colours you like - I would recommend pre-ordering them.  Stores are getting limited quantities.
