Im pretty sure Xavier will follow Pablo. I love Violet Fatale every time I try it, I just never took the plunge. So I will start with Xavier then work my way to Violet Fatale. I'm pretty sure I'm about to put Pablo on, but not much else. :x

Tried out my gold lash tips today.  Firstly, these are really subtle.  I used to have an LE guerlain gold mascara that was a similar concept, but bolder.  Second, it's really hard to photograph this.

The second picture shows the gold better, but it doesn't look this crusty IRL.

So do you really like it? How does this work? You put on mascara, then top it with this?

MrsB, I am undecided still.  I tried it the first time on bare lashes.  Am going to try it in the morning over mascara (as it's intended)

i can tell you so far I don't think it is worth the $50cdn price tag.  Maybe when I try it over mascara it will wow me more.

Was going to tell you that the SA who had told me about it said it is supposed to be best over your normal mascara. It looks better than I was imagining, though I'm not sold!

Huh. Turns out Silverkis was wrong about Matthew being Naked Coral's mini me. Just saw Temptalia's review of Naked Coral and she didn't list Matthew as a dupe. I never bothered to open the bigger tube because I thought they were the same, but I just swatched both now and they're very different (Matthew is pinker and brighter). Makes me wonder about the other L&Bs. I'll check my stash this weekend.

Talinder and Mocha - here's an updated comparison of TF browns/brownish shades, now with Deep Mink. My natural lip color is two-toned, with the outer part matching Deep Mink and the inner part matching Sable Smoke, so I'm happy to be able to use either as a "nude". Now that I have these, I'll try to find their matches in Tilbury lipsticks. HTH. I'll have to look at MAC and Colourpop (Pitch?) for a proper chocolate brown.

You are a dear, skintester, thank you so much! I think I have Pavlos and Guillermo or Gustavo which I never wear. I'm thinking I'd prefer the lighter shades like Sable and Coco.

Would you say Deep Mink or Coco Ravish have a pink tone? I've heard that mentioned before, but I don't always see it.

Talinder, I don't see pink in either of them. Deep Mink and Coco Ravish look straight up brown on me. On my arm, DM is just a tad darker but on my lips I can't tell the difference. It would really depend on your natural lip color. Between the two, I'd pick CR because DM smells a bit off. I've ordered DM and Sable Smoke from different retailers and each time they both have a crayola scent (at least no crayola taste, otherwise I would have sent them back). Coco Ravish has the classic vanilla scent.
