So Vain looks like a discontinued shade called Pink Adobe.  I was trying to find it everywhere a couple of years ago..may just have to pick up So Vain now.

I think so vain is a little more plum and more sheer than pink adobe.

Wondering how so vain compares to negligee and Casablanca. Anyone have both?

Oh no!  So Vain looks lighter than Cary.

If Cary and the Rose Soleil lip sheer from summer had a baby, I think it would look like So Vain ;). I have only worn it briefly but So Vain does not have the same full coverage creaminess of most of the regular lipsticks, in my opinion. It is more of a hybrid between the regular and lip sheer. Curious what others think.

It's that shimmer.  It makes it seem more sheer...but I'm not sure if it is.  Pretty pigmented.  But I agree that 

it's different from the regular formula.

Great observation, I hadn't thought of it that way. I do think it is more  similar to the TF lip sheer formula than the regular lipsticks compared to the other new ones I got.

Mrs B...I can compare all three in a few days.  I have them all (So Vain should arrive in a few days).

Negligee is more brown.  And if this makes sense, because they're both pigmented, it's more pigmented and looks more opaque.  So vain has this amazing shimmer/sheen thing and is more pink..but not pink...pink with brown and purple rose sort of pink. So vain on the left.

So vain is so so pretty.  I have somehow managed to resist TF aside from one cheek duo I got last year, but this picture is making it hard to hold off.

Negligee is on the right.  I can totally see dark and stormy on you.  It's a great shade....and wears better than many. Shades like this one can be blotchy...the darkness ends up not wearing evenly.  This one doesn't do that.  It's like deep, rich, luscious fruit.  Anyway...I'm sold.

I bought So Vain only because Negligee is not the right nude for me.  It is too brown.  Maybe So Vain will be better.....

It's also less orange..and has a lovely sheen.  I'm curious to see it on you...things always look so different on you  I can so see it working for you!
