Casino looks much different in the tube than it does swatted! I saw it on Nordie's and thought I was mistaken - guess not! I think I want to swatch that one first before buying

So it's almost like lips and boys but smaller.

Pinks, browns, oranges and golds.  No reds or purple/plums (lilac..but it's a pink lilac).

I sort of want them all...but that won't happen!!!!

I am officially now banned from this brand for a while!!!

If that is correct, I bet Guillermo is So Vain.

No clue on Wes though.  I texted my SA to ask her if any of the ones I wanted were L&B repromotes.  I'll let you know what she says.

Would be interesting if So Vain is a repromote of Guillermo. So Vain is more shimmery, more sheer and less brown than Guillermo (at least to me). Both are beautiful, but not the same color.

I didn't buy Wes in L&B because it was sheer and patchy.  Maybe they changed formula.....

The ladies over at Specktra (quote from Ernie specifically) are speculating that a bunch of these are repromotes.

What do you ladies think?

"The promo images for Casino, Sweet Mystery, Dark & Stormy and So Vain look exactly the same as the promo images for Blake, Peter, Pavlos and Guillermo. Also Flash of Pink=John, Guilty Pleasure=William, Seventh Sin =Omar, Showgirl=Francesco and Sunset=Tomas. Maybe Nordies or TF have just made a mistake with the promo images, but aside from Seventh Sin=Omar (looks more like Gustavo to me), they all seem to match pretty well."

His lip colors always look so strange on me. I have a few, but they are NOT colors I would ever normally pick out for myself. The rest of his line is amazing through. The quality is incredible.

This isn't a whole lot different than what katelovesysl posted yesterday but it is a view of the swatches next to the names that I got from my SA at Nordstrom:

a lot of the colors looked similar to me. The browns are gorgeous, if that's your thing. Maybe it is my skintone, but Virgin Rose looked really purple to me. I never bought Olivier from L&B but it seemed light purple more than the muted rose I was expecting. I got these if anyone wants to attempt more swatches:

• So Vain
• Showgirl
• Something Wild
• Flash of Pink- I almost didn't get this because it is not normally the kind of color I wear, but the shimmers in it are incredible. It has a ton of dimension but isn't quite metallic. I have never seen anything like it with such a smooth texture.

Other than Flash of Pink, I didn't think any of the pinks and purples were that unique. Definitely a collection to swatch first if you can.

SA also told me that the gold one from the campaign is not out yet and may be a new L&B. She said all of them were guessing it was Rory but the company never supplied info (apparently it is unusual that the didn't).

I got Rory...and it's pretty sheer.  Even with photo shopping and careful application and I can't see it as the gold in the ad.  Doesn't have nearly enough pigmentation to build up like that.

Hmmm is it thought that some of these might be L&B renamed?  So Vain, which looks gorgeous, looks a little like Guillermo in this pic but not the other one.  Flash of Pink might be Preston or close?  Virgin Rose is close to Julian a bit. 

Even if they are close, I will likely get a few of these.  The L&B were wonderful colors and some of these are so appealing too!

My more swatches I see, the more I'm thinking it's some of the previous lips and boys.

flash of pink reminds me of John based on how it looks and lipstick4soul's description.

Lilac nymph looks like Jack.

I will try and do swatches tomorrow if I get time. These are excellent guesses, one might think you had them all in hand 😉 

julian is more the color I was hoping virgin rose would be. Julian is more "rose", though I did not buy virgin rose to be able to compare. 

Guillermo is more brown and a lot less shimmery than so vain. Edited for a poor iPhone pic:

thanks for the Guillermo comparison. Anything close to Guillermo would be nice, I'm sure, it's such an amazing color. 🙂
