Nordstrom's is price matching I noticed, for the few L&B's they have, their FS lipsticks, blushes and maybe a couple other things. That's why I almost bought pink tease but then I remembered I have a YSL lippie coming on Monday that I was enabled to buy via MrsBaine's thread and I think they are close in color. So I save $50 to go towards that Moonlight duo that you all know I will eventually get no matter how much I b$tch about the price! Lol!! 😉

of course very shortly all the prices will increase and stay that way. 😞 I'm hoping for one of those good Neimans GC sales!

I love Mr Ford products but I hate the yearly price increases. It is ridiculous especially the lips ands boys increase. It's almost liked 10 percent there. Hey Tom, nobody gets a 10% raise around here.

They are really high, but there is some sort of justification for it (at least in my head). Like the lipsticks - at $50 (I suppose $52 now), that is *extremely* high. But, I find them to be very moisturizing, and he specifically designed/formulated them so that you don't need any king of lip liner and it just stays in place.

I also find the mascara to be super expensive, but for me - it's amazing. It does exactly what I want/need it to without making my long lashes look crazy, like a lot of mascaras do :x.

I promised to take a good picture of Tom Ford illustrating duo but I failed again. My hubby kinda rushed me to stop by his office to take care of some paperwork and then lunch so I didn't have chance to swatch and take a good picture of me wearing it right after. This is 6 hrs later after my surprised baby shower at his office. Not sure if you can see it but I can see a bit on me. It is very subtle, very beautiful. I like it a lot. The duo suits the name 😉

Meganlisa, I'm pondering buying a second one as a backup :x. The only other thing I bought from this collection is the A/W color. Of the October releases, I'm only interested in the mascara (he's coming out with a GOLD mascara!), and then I'll be waiting for lips and boys :).

I have seen these new mascaras in person - my SA had a them.  I think there were 3 colours.

They are pretty.  But I am not into mascaras....so I didn't even try them.

I bought a blue or purple mascara (not Tom Ford) one time but ended up wasting it. They are more appropriate for party setting and we hardly go to a party anymore;)

I used to ❤️ Diorshow mascara in blue. It was gorgeous. But, I was in college. And now I have an office job 😄

I got invited to an event end of month with the regional TF makeup artist.  But I doubt I'll wait that long.  It's in my nordstrom basket...I just was doing some stuff with a friend and just finished.  Now I have a little time...

Hold on you crazy woman (yeah, yeah, takes one to know one!) ..., there's a GOLD mascara coming!!! Oh my stars! I'll look like a star!! What a dream! This week, new strategy, street walking. Hey, I didn't say what I'd be doing as I walk the streets...,just imagine the sign around my neck, " will work for Tom Ford, particularly the Moonlight duo and gold mascara and I really want the pink illuminating powder plus a lot of Lips & Boys..." IT'S BEEN DONE BEFORE! I've seen all kinds a crazy in NYC! (No I don't live there but I'm only 2 hours away so we get a lot of the NY crazies. I think some are here on BT too!) 😄

Where there's a will, there's a way!!

and Lord as my penance I will help the truly needy by giving them the jazziest make up I can find in my embarrassingly large stash, promise!!

YES! Coming out October 1st, there will be a navy mascara and a GOLD mascara!  don't know how the gold will look on me, but I have to try it lol!

I had a friend who worked at Starbucks throughout high school and college - whenever she'd find something new she wanted to buy, she'd take over the tip jar, make a sign, and tell people (like she'd label it "Liz's Red Dress fund"). And...it worked :x!

Lovely all around!! I told Kate I'd be waiting to order this esp since I am bingeing on lipsticks lately etc. But I literally was just laying here in bed gazing at it on Nordstrom's. I just sold a few things on eBay to sorta justify buying more, lol! But I don't know,..,$80, ugh. I know, I always complain about price! I was also looking at buying the Pink Tease matte lippie. But I can't buy both and that's permanent. Oh... Let's see what else I can scrounge up to sell...ha ha!! 😄

and P.S. Yes, I've looked at the other pictures that's why I'm soooo, soooooo whiny!!!

Lol, I hear ya. I'd been doing real good not buying anymore eyeshadow palette but then I'm buying lipsticks and I'm not even a lipstick girl. Hopefully the baby and my mom will keep me busy in the next couple months so I won't hoard so much. 😉

The baby will definitely keep you busy for awhile and you'll be too tired to care about make up! Yeah, sounds like a good plan! Except it's really not! Lol! I feel like all of that was just yesterday....in fact I was recently reminiscing about the early days post partum. Now my baby will be starting preschool soon....waaahhh!! I'm so depressed! Must buy more make up!!  (See how that works? A very vicious cycle, those kids, they cost you money one way or another! Lol!). 😄
