OMG! I'm surprised you're due that soon! Granted, I don't know you / what you normally look like, but your face does not appear swollen at all. i have a friend due about the same time, and her face has appeared more swollen in the past several months than you appear here :).

I think you will like it. I can see the glow but it's very subtle not screaming "I'm wearing highlighter" at all. I'm not sure why thebeautylookbook thinks it's dramatic.

Ok so - the illuminating duo in Moodlight. I pre-ordered online through TF direct, but it still hasn't shipped out, and is no longer available to be ordered through them, so I didn't have much confidence in it actually being shipped. I went to my counter last night and they had it in stock. The SA (who was *extremely* friendly, by the way), excitedly put it on me (I was wearing makeup already, which included bronzer but no highlighter) - it is definitely subtle and beautiful. However, as I played with it this morning, I realized it is very build able as well. 

Swatches first on my (very white) skin - lighter color on the left, darker on the right: 

Putting my face behind a spoiler lol. Warning that all I'm wearing is foundation to even out my skin (that I applied pretty quickly, and I'm sure it shows lol), and the illuminating duo on top. As the SA had done (and Kara Kendall had in the video Kate posted about), I applied the lighter shade first to the apples of my cheeks, nose, and central forehead and chin. Darker shade went under my cheekbones and outer edges of my face. I did go back and build up the lighter shade on my cheeks after the fact.

If you want this, run! Don't walk to your SA. My counter received stock last Saturday and my yesterday, they were down to their last 20. For the time being, this is LE but the general consensus of all the SAs there is that this should absolutely be permanent and they voiced this during their training. Big time lesson learned - having an SA to go to is absolutely best because I get *so much* more info (and samples :p)

Lastly for those interested, counters will receive that A/W color in the next week or 2. And they are anticipating the black and blue collection on the 1st of October.

I agree about running to get it! I went to the only Nordstrom's in my area that had the duo (and I live by 3-4 Nordstroms within 30 minute north/south drive) and they only had 3 left. I went off to shop and think about purchasing it and when I finally came back to get it (like 1 hour later) there were 1-2 left. I'm not sure when they got it in, but the SA said they sold through it super fast T_T

Yeah! The high price tag was a bit hard to swallow, but the SA tried it on my cheeks when I went to the stall the first time and the subtle glitter was just too hard to resist. I'm quite the highlighter fiend (have NARS Albatross, TheBalm Mary Lou) and sparkle fiend (Guerlain pearls, Hourglass Luminous Light...) but this was some of the prettiest highlighting I've seen!

I was scared about the darker color but it ended up super nice.

Now to debate on adding Becca Champagne Pop ha ha ha...
