Hi everyone, as libellules posted earlier, Rory is avail at Saks. I just saw Cooper, John, Francesco and Alexander are available at Bloomingdales. Ebates has 8% cash back at Bloomies right now til July 15 EOD.
John should arrive today. I'm still waiting for the shipping info for Cooper and Francesco. So Bloomingdales really has these colors after all 😉
I finally heard from customer service email. Basically I'm supposed to receive a fedex shipping label (still have not gotten it) in email to return Nude Dip and then they will send me a new one. No apology or anything for sending me broken products. I think this will be my last Tom Ford item.
Lame. They need to overnight you a new one plus send a label to ship the damaged one back ASAP. It's sad when "luxury brands" are so lacking in CS.
Honestly, in the world of luxury make up brands, I find TF has one of the worst customer service. I have talked to almost 10 different SAs from TF at different department stores, only 2 SAs are really nice. Sadly, they both left TF eventually. I guess they probably figure their products will sell no matter what, so they don't really spend anytime addressing the importance of customer service.
I'm starting to get this same impression. I've met a couple of really really nice SAs - one at Nordstrom, one at Neimans. Another wasn't the friendliest, but she was also very honest. I'm kind of miffed because I ordered a big bottle of fragrance last week from Saks and they did not and will not include the atomizer. When I contacted a 4th (not previously mentioned) SA (this one at Saks) inquiring if this was standard, she wasn't helpful because I'd ordered online with the 20% off rather than going through her. OK.
I should have just gone through the really really friendly SA at Nordstrom and seen if they would have price matched.
In the meantime, I've tried contacting Tom Ford directly. Their e-mail form when sent to Beauty comes back to me, and I haven't heard back from online inquiries. Likewise, their phone line hours are also very inconvenient. While the person who I spoke with in their Beauty department was nice enough, she couldn't help me and transferred me to online inquiries, where I had to leave a message. No call back or e-mail back yet.
I don't think I've ever heard of the atomizer being included with an online order. I think the atomizer is part of the incentive to go through the SAs in-store or direct from tom ford online. Even in store not all SAs will give you the atomizer because they get stolen by SAs who want to resell on ebay. It'd be awesome if you could go through a nice SA, get an atomizer, and get the price match - great idea!
Wow how funny people's experience w/ TF salespeople are pretty similar! I've seen a handful of rude, unhelpful and just nasty people who were pretty much discouraging me from purchasing the products, until I found my one and only from Neiman Marcus! lol (If anyone needs his info, do let me know and I'll be happy to share the contact info. This guy is awesome.)
If I may add my own horror story w/ TF direct- I was able to snag Adriano when it was sold out everywhere else. I was so thrilled to order it but when it arrived damaged. Yeah, there was no apology, no sorry, no nothing. That was my first and last order from TF dot com. I thought it was me being all spoiled with other retailers' awesome customer service.. guess not!
Wow I would expect so much more from them. This is really astonishing.
That's pretty bad CS in my opinion. I'd return the product on principle...but that's just me lol

The gold lip color reminds me of Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Stranger (or the discontinued Trash lipstick) 🙂 I can't get Rory to look this opaque on me. It's just too sheer. I have better luck with Sebastian.
