We're blabbing about everything else these days, I figured I'd check in and see what people are watching when it comes to TV shows and movies!

It would be foolish to think that this thread could remain spoiler free, so let's be courteous to one another and be sure to spoiler your spoilers. If you don't know how, it's that super adorable little yellow button on the toolbar, located to the right of the bold/italic/underline/strikeout buttons. 

DONT FORGET: If you happen to be the most recent post, your first sentence or two of your post will show up EVEN IF ITS IN A SPOILER. So please take care if you're going to go dropping spoiler bombs. 

Anywho... I just saw the movie PHOENIX last night and it was absolutely spectacular. Like Academy Award spectacular. If you're fortunate enough have showings in your area, I cannot urge you enough to go see it.

I've binged a ton of anime recently, now that I've found ones I like. We even went to see the Chainsaw Man movie in theaters. It was really good.

We're currently watching Physical 100: Asia. As usual with this show, the challenges are unhinged but the participants are amazing. 

Great British Baking Show is comforting and fantastic, as always.

If you love a political thriller Hostage on Netflix is the one. Great story plus it has two great strong female characters;  both the prime minister  of England  and the president of France are women.

It's back (soon)! Only Murders in the Building Season 5 premieres September 9 on Hulu. Three episodes to drop 9.9 and new episodes after will be available on the following Tuesdays.

Went through 6 of the 8 episodes of The Better Sister on my flight home. Thought about watching the last two when I got back, but it was late so I decided to wash up and go to bed instead. Finished the last 2 episodes today.  

The limited TV series is adapted from the book by the same name (by Alafair Burke). I haven't read the book (yet), but it was on my list before I caught sight of the show. I am told there was a certain amount of "creative license" taken with the screenplay, which is to be expected, but I'm not in a position to offer any insight on those modifications.

Not having read the book, I can't tell what changes were made. That said, I thought the screenplay was generally good and that the story, told in present time and flashbacks, was nicely done. The leads, Elizabeth Banks and Jessica Biel, played their characters very well. If there's a second season (even though there's no second book), I'd definitely tune in.

Just finished Season 3 of Ginny and Georgia and it was the best one yet.  I highly recommend this series , it has so many interesting story lines and the acting is terrific.

Just finished Etoile on Prime.   It is funny and endearing.  It is about ballet but more about the characters then dance.

@CorgiMommy I've been curious about it, so I was glad to see a doc about it.  Like a lot of streaming documentaries, I think it would have been better if it were a little shorter.

If you haven't been watching "The Pitt" on HBO you're missing out. It's the best medical drama I've ever seen. 10/10

The new season of "White Lotus" is amazing, as well. If you haven't seen the first two seasons, there's a few threads that overlap but you can watch it without watching the first two (even though they're so good you should).
