I think I have "holiday fatigue."  I tried to buy $50 worth of goods on a $25 gift certificate (read the amount incorrectly; it was a gift.)  I'm glad I didn't get ugly with the sales clerk about how it must have been a mistake on the company's part!

This is too funny @Ispend2much6! I feel like I'm stress-spending and rather than picking up the gifts I'm supposed to, I pick up all these random things. Definitely need to stop leaving it to the last minute. 🙊

I went to the drug store for cello-tape (which I almost forgot) and frozen pizza. I won't tell you how long I spent in the beauty section or what all I came back with, but I'm definitely blaming all y'all. Well, all y'all and Emily Noel.

@juliehnguyen  I hear you.  I think that happens to me too when I am stressed.  It's more difficult to think clearly, at least as far as gifting and getting ready for the holidays.  I'm just glad our gifts were purchased!

On the bright side, the gift card was for a take-out place.  Some of yesterday's order was incorrect, and some bagels were stale, so they were replacing those today. 

We ordered additional food, but the manager taking the order incorrectly copied my cc number, and told me she was going to comp everything!  In addition to that, she also added a ton of cookies to our order!

Aww that take-out place is so sweet @Ispend2much6! Love how they're spreading the holiday joy! And finishing your holiday shopping early is so wise! I still have 1 more gift to pick up from Target! I was suppose to pick it up yesterday but two cars were in a very heated argument about a parking spot that I got so scared and drove home. Praying this doesn't happen again tonight and I don't have to circle around the parking lot infinitely.

@juliehnguyen  I would have done the same exact thing!I hope your trip tonight is successful.  Not to be a downer, but there has been a lot more car violence here.  I even heard of a woman reaching into a car and beating up a man because of some silly reason.  I don't understand how someone gets to that point over parking spots and driving space, but there it is.

And, I'm not that wise for getting gifts early. 😉  My kids mostly wanted cash. lol

Ohmygosh that's scary @Ispend2much6! Holiday shopping can really bring out the worst in people. I think I'm just going to drop by Target near closing time (crossing my fingers that the crowds will die down by then). 

Love how your kids make your life so easy! I don't have any of my owns but all my younger cousins want toys and games.

@ZombieMetroAnt  You should be!  My hubby ran to Walmart in our little shopping center that's closest to our home.  I talked to him a few times while he was out and he kept saying, over and over, "It's so busy!" lol   Poor guy had no idea.

Does anyone else remember Suzy Snowflake?  If you do a search on YouTube you can find the video and Rosemary Clooney singing the namesake song.
