2018 wasn’t a great year for me and I know some other people on BIC can agree the same.  I lost my Yorkie of almost 12 years and was secretly dealing with infertility issues for over a year trying to have a second child. I didn’t have it easy with my first either as I had 3 miscarriages before my son.  Overtime this lead to depression and anger seeing other people in my family getting pregnant quickly. I spent most of my time last year at the doctor’s office doing testing to see what the issue was with every test coming out normal.  I went through 3 failed IUIs and finally decided to gamble on IVF.

I am now lucky to finally say that after all the needles that it took to get to this point that I will finally be expecting a mini me in September. 

Being active on BIC really helped take my mind off all the stress, depression and anger I was having and gave me something else to focus on. I have met so many great people on here as well as got to do an awesome Galentine’s exchange and I want to thank everyone of you for changing my life.

@sportygirl125 I’m so happy for you. So many women deal with infertility that you may not even know. Ivf is how I got both of my babies. I have little girl that’s a ball of energy that is my mini me. My little man isn’t quite two yet but loves to flirt. Congrats on your pregnancy and being over the needles!!!! Enjoy your pregnancy. You’ve endured a lot of tears and heartache and now you have a rainbow baby to plan for. So happy for you.

@KNC24 Thank you. I was so shocked at how many people were having the same issues with me.  It was physically, mentally and financially challenging and I wanted to give up so many times but hung in there. Plus it’s not a guarantee that it will work for you especially the first time. I am so over needles and blood tests. I thought having a C Section was bad but the needles everyday was by far the worst.  I loved my fertility doctors and nurses so much that I almost cried when they said I graduated to my OB.  I am so happy that IVF worked for you and you have your rainbow babies.
