Things are crazy now. I think we are all trying to stay healthy and maintain sanity as well. I thought I would start this thread so folks can check in and discuss how they're doing. I want all my BIC friends to be okay. I will kick this off with a first post. Take care of yourself lovelies.
Hi Everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! Like many of you, struggling these days with stress and uncertainty about our country and the economy. I have been so busy keeping up with work with family demands and travel (which is lovely but tiring!), I haven't been here much and I miss everyone. I definitely feel mentally drained and haven't been getting my skincare and makeup routines in either! I just wanted to check in and send hugs to everyone else who may be feeling down and drained these days.
Personal positives include the garden entering Year 3 (Years 1 & 2 for some plantings) and our baby girl growing and thriving! Also, a lot of excitement with graduations and family celebrations. Anyway, hang in there everyone and take care of yourselves!

@curlychiquita - I know you took down what you posted. I completely agree with the "affirmations"! I haven't been on BIC for two or three weeks due to the stress and anxiety I'm going through. I want to retire, but it's not feasible at this point. If the crap that's going on continues much longer, I may do it anyway just to get away from it and hope everything works out...not the best idea.

@Titian06 Stress and anxiety is the reason I havenโt been as active on here too. The constant uncertainty is terrifying. I canโt even consider retiring so I will have to stick it out and hope for the best.
I'm sorry @faeriegirl ! It's so distressing. Making a decision based on other people's stupidity is not the answer. I definitely feel for you! (((HUG)))
Iโve been more and more confused about my feelings and canโt figure out why I feel certain things. Iโm also struggling with body issues and comparing myself to others, which I know is a terribly bad habit, but I find myself doing it over and over again. I hope everyone else is doing okay !!

I'm having trouble sleeping and have increased anxiety. I've never had this before and now I feel pretty bad. Before this my dog โโstarted acting pretty irritable and it turned out he had fleas. I found Nexgard Without Vet Prescription
which should help him feel better. I hope this helps I will have -1 problem.
Iโm sorry to hear this, @dinadore! ๐ฉท Exercise helps me with my anxiety, but if that doesnโt work you you, seeing a doctor may help. It can be a regular doctor, or an online telehealth doctor, it doesnโt need to be a specialist. Good luck! ๐
Hmmm, hope you're resting at the moment @dinadore , if not browse some threads here. Sometimes anxiety warrants a distraction, it doesn't address what's causing it head on, but it gives you relief and maybe you can attack the issue later.

@danielledanielle @dinadore - Another thread that might be helpful is BIC Book Club!!! Reading a good book is helpful for both insomnia and anxiety. Ask me how I know! ๐ฅฑ I'm sorry you're having these issues, I know them well. YT has some nice binaural sleep videos...play with the audio low, the screen enlarged, and the brightness set to low and let it run all night. I've been getting some of my best sleep ever. You may have to try different ones until you find the sounds that you find relaxing (I particularly like crickets and rain on drums). This in turn will help with your anxiety.

I am experiencing health challenges that are impacting me far more then anticipated and need to make it my priority to take care of them. I really hope to be back to this wonderful community soon, that I apppreciate so much. I want to be able to engage. I donโt have my full energy. But I have to make health my priority at this time.
