Origins has created Hello Calm, a relaxing and hydrating face mask with cannabis sativa seed oil and we would love to hear your feedback.

@pocketvenus I absolutely loved it! Even more than the ginger kombucha. The subtle scent lingers on even an hour after I’ve used it and it’s so soothing! Plus my skin looked refreshed. 💖

Hello Calm for me as well! It's a bit too humid and hot in the northeast right now (i'm sweating just sitting here) but I know this weekend will cool down so I'm super excited to give this mask a whirl. Origins has never done me wrong, I just used their 10 minute Out of Trouble mask last night, an oldie but a goodie! The Hello, Calm mask smells quite lovely at first whiff and after reading everyone's experiences so far, I'm intrigued and excited! Love the little pouch too 🙂

Okay, I just finished testing out Hello, Calm and I really did enjoy it! I found the smell to be quite pleasant and relaxing, and it totally reminded me of going to a spa for a facial or an aromatherapy massage. After removing it, the scent lingers but ever so slightly. I can be quite sensitive to scents, but natural scents never really seem to bother me. I can detect the lavender and bergamont, and I actually do like the smell of cannnabis (though I do not part take... I prefer another member of the hop family 🍺), so it’s a combination of things I like. 

My skin doesn’t feel dry or irritated, the texture of the mask itself was creamy and thick. As it sat, I felt a bit of a cooling sensation that wasn’t overpowering or distracting. I like that feeling though. I also like that it’s not a mud mask so it doesn’t dry down or get hard. 

I don’t generally struggle with major redness, except a bit over my cheeks sometimes. I also have a fairly even skin tone, so I don’t know if I notice any major improvements there. I have combo skin but generally don’t have too many issues that impact the texture or quality of my skin. There is a bit of a glow there after using the mask, but honestly it’s not much different than my regular nighttime routine. 

Overall, I think this is a nice, relaxing, gentle, and treatment based mask. I almost wish I had some more skin issues it could address, since it is a skin care product. Weird? The biggest benefit for me is the aromatherapy aspect, I do really really enjoy the scent. For me, it would work best as a treat or part of a self care routine, more than a staple step in my skin care routine. At the anticipated price point, Hello, Calm is going to be an indulgence without any guilt.
