Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@Ispend2much6 I'm only interested in 50% off deals for NLD!  I meant to swatch more in store at Sephora to be prepared but ran out of time.  Wanted to check out Kosas, Ilia and one more brand that escapes me - just in case.  Monday is going to be terribly busy for me, so I hope I can make an order.

National Lipstick Day is the 29th, so I imagine there will be a lip sampler or two on Monday. Other than that, I don't really know... forecasting gwps is near impossible most of the time 😋

@RGbrown as I understand it, the generic code can only be used once.  Whereas if there's a unique code; then once you've used your own, you could use someone else's code to take further advantage of the promo.

Generic codes are multiuse an overwhelming majority of the time. The 10/15/20% code based on status a couple of weeks ago was the only single-use generic I've seen in the last 5+ years; previous to that, the last time I can think of one goes all the way back to something like 2017 or 2018, and that one was also a one-off, extremely isolated event. 

Generics are good 😊

@RGbrown  I haven’t decided on Sephoria yet, though I appreciate that it’s not in California this year (shorter travel distance for me). I’ve got other stuff happening that might conflict. By the time I decide, it’ll probably be sold out. 😅 It’s been several years since I last visited Atlanta; used to go for work-related meetings and conferences. It’d be fun to swing by again, especially if I could work in a 30-minute detour one day or night to visit Fun Spot and ride their RMC (AireForce One) because hi, I’m a coaster nerd. Anyway, are you going? 

Like some other folks, I’ve had trouble logging in to both BIC and .com (web), and I still get knocked out of BIC if I visit a .com page without incognito mode. I won’t use the app for BIC or anything else unless it’s my last resort. Hope things are good in your corner of the world!

I'm in "maybe" territory as well, ha. I'm not going to Sephoria proper, I already know that much...while the swag bag makes admission worthwhile, I just don't consider myself into makeup enough to spend that sort of time in a crowded convention hall, and I don't want to just pick up my loot and dip out either 😂 But! It's close enough to me that I've asked my sis to pencil in that weekend for an ATL trip (I hate driving, and won't go that far alone) so we can maybe meet some folks. I'd love to meet up with you if the stars align!

Log in issues are a plague; I can't believe it's taking them so long to fix this. I mostly just log in to post new Ulta stuff now unless I see a tag in my email that warrants a quicker response (and some days, I check Ulta but then get annoyed at login troubles and don't even bother to post whatever new deals popped up. Ugh)
