Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@MataDC I agree with what @Loretta55 said below.  When there's a choice, there's usually one sample that I've been dying to get my hands on, so I go with that choice.  

I haven't worn false eyelashes in a couple of years, but when I do wear false lashes, I like the HOL iconic lites.  IDK if you care, but for me I placed a couple of orders with HOL about 5 years ago because Desi Perkins was always talking about the iconic lash.  I have the iconics and the iconic lites, and I do prefer the lites since I have a hooded lid, my eyes are kind of small, and I feel like the iconic lites don't cover my entire lid.  They're not my favorite false eyelash, but they're good.  (My favorite is a tarte lash because it's full but without being ridiculous and over the top).

So I guess there's a couple of ways to look at the choice: you can separate it out by falsies vs mascaras.  I would do this because free falsies are harder to come by than free mini mascaras, but of course this is only applicable if you use/like falsies. Both samplers come with the Ardell wispies, so then it's down to the iconic lite and blinking beauty lashes in bag #1, and then eyelure and glamnetic in bag #2.  

The iconics are had a moment on youtube via beauty gurus, not sure if anyone still talks about them because I stopped watching gurus.  The blinking beauty lashes are self adhesive, so that's interesting and new.  Then there's the eyelure lashes, which are unremarkable, and the glamnetic lashes which are magnetic, and I'd find that novel.  So, if you're into fake lashes it comes down to a choice between a very popular lash, and self adhesive lash, vs. the magnetic lash.

If you're just looking at mascaras, the first bag has more prestige mascaras: grande, too faced, lancome, estee lauder; the second bag has less prestige: Nars and Tarte.

Thanks, good points @Loretta55 . @itscarin you convinced me!  I already have magnetic lashes and haven't tried self-adhesive or the Iconic.  Definitely right that free lashes don't come up anywhere near as often as mascara.

I can discuss my thoughts @MataDC. Is there an item inside of one of the bags that interest you? Is there a mascara that you know that you like and you may want either a back up or a travel size. Those are factors that I use when I choose a bag. Both bags have 2 sets of false eyelashes that I would not wear. Truthfully it is personal preference.

I hope "national lash day" tomorrow (Friday) is a good one with stacking gwps and diamond/platinum perks for the cherry on top. I'm somewhat hopeful since they skipped the Wednesday beauty break.
