Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

See this is why i should check prices first, it's 17 bucks on ud with 10% and free ship for auto delivery😭 id try and cancel my order but ive never had any luck with ulta doing that.

Edit: i ordered it from ud too, lol! Ive never tried it before so this way i get to try it before paying full price at ulta, at least ill know if the gwps are worth it, i heard we have to give them back now if we return stuff😭

Returning a gwp is very YMMV and highly dependent on the store. "All original components" actually refers to the product you paid for (box, all pieces if it's a set, etc). From what I've been reading, most folks aren't asked for the gwp back, especially smaller stuff like this, but I've seen some folks report that they were required to return high dollar gwps. Yes, Ulta changed the verbiage to drop the "you can keep your gift" language, but the current policy doesn't say you have to give it back either. It's ambiguous at best, and up to each store.

I'd recommend having a gwp with you when making a return just in case, but I also think you've got an 80%+ chance of walking out with the gwp still in hand. Many gwps are online only, and the store can't do much with those anyways other than toss them out.

@RGbrown Thanks for the info!  I actually wrote Ulta about this yesterday, and here's what they had to say:

You recently reached out about returning a product.

Thank you for contacting us! No, there is no need for you to return the gwp, it is a gift and you may keep it.

Whenever you are returning something from an online order you can approach any store to do it. Our return policy is if you return an item 60 days after purchase, you get refunded back to your original payment method; if it's past 60 days the store can grant you an in-store credit so you can get something else instead.

It was a reddit post from a few months ago. They changed the wording in their return policy to say all components need to be returned and it used tonsay gwps were yours to keep and it doesnt anymore. In the reddit post people report being denied a return without it.

I think that where the terms used to be unambiguous, now they aren't as clear and associates at ulta are using that wording to deny returns without the gwps, from reading over the reddit thread about it.
