Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

oh, btw, I redeemed the diamond welcome gift in store and received lipstick queen ice queen. it's not a thing I would buy for myself so I'm not sure if I should try it or give it to someone else yet.

I wish I got this! I love ice queen. I only got one of the teeny smashbox primers and a NARS red little mini lip I already got in multiple bags. And I can’t wear red lips with my complexion lol.

I used the 20% off, 5x one day and 5x palettes and this is what I got: base points on $36, 8x multiplier (5x palette and 5x everything become 4x each when you subtract the base from each one). I ended up with 9.5x and 20% off so I don't feel bad about not getting the palette during the 10x sale. 😁

Ah, yeah, if you just spend the 350, you'd only get $11 for it. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone though to save up and spend in 2000pt/$125 increments (and my calcs are always based on that conversion)...at that level, that same 350 points is $21.xx of the $125 credit. 😁

My 11/28 order FINALLY arrived today, which was a total surprise because the tracking said it would be delivered on Monday. The box was heavier than I expected since my order was 4 Japonesque brushes. So imagine my surprise when I opened the box and found 2 BareMinerals lip duos and 3 Julep lip duos!! I don’t know if it’s a mistake or a loyalty gift. Has anyone else ever gotten a surprise like that in their Ulta order?

I got a beauty order from Macy's once that was picked with multiples of the line number rather than the actual quantity listed. 1 of line 1, 2 of line 2, 3 of line 3, and 4 of line 4! Someone did not drink their coffee before packing that order 🙂

Can someone let me know when this round of 20% coupons expire? I haven’t received mine yet in email (this has happened once before but it was a long tine ago) or regular mail, but I just moved and even though I’ve updated my address and have ordered things to my new address maybe the coupon got lost? 

Ulta has been irritating me a bit lately though... but I have some points I can use haha.
