Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Help, please! I am still failing at calculating points. 🤣 So I am Platinum and I had the two 5x pts on ABH, 250 pts on $60 purchase and made a purchase of $128 of ABH products, redeemed 2000 pts ($125), paid $3.25 out of pocket and it says I earned 1027 pts. Is that correct?

@smf16yeah that could be correct...if you pay at least a little over the $125 redemption, the bonus points get applied as "earned", but the base points are "redeemed" so you wont get those...or something like that lol I'm also going to guess that they probably didn't apply the 250 pts on a $60 since in the transaction you only paid ~$3

Bonus points (8*128) + Base (3*1.25) = 1027 🙂

Ahh I see now. I think the base points trip me up lol. So base points only on the $3. Hmmm...yeah think you are right I didn't get the 250 bonus pts either. Thanks so much! 💜

@luvgloss13  5X is still a great multiplier though. If it's something you've had your eye on, you're not on a low-buy. and you can work in it to your collection, it's still worth getting with 5X imo. The extra 5X of course would have been awesome, but just one is pretty darn good too!

Check your multipliers before doing anything; my second one is gone, so it's just 5x now instead of a super stack. 

5x is still nice, just not quite as nice as it was lol.

(I havent tried subculture so I can't speak to it, sorry)

On the ABH multiplier: when you are checking out did it have the extra points already calculated? Or was it after you had actually processed you purchase that the 9.25 showed up? Because right now for me (before hitting submit) it just has enough points to merit one 5X.

@Maria88  The points showed up as I was checking out, at the usual place where it displays the points you earned with your order.

I just put a Glow palette in my cart, went to checkout, and right above the "place order" button, it told me I would earn 470 points for the order (the palette is $40.00.)  So, it looks like it's still working.

Did you activate both ABH 5x multipliers?  I hope I don't offend you by asking, that's the only reason I can think of that would explain why you're not getting the extra points.

Yea I have both active, no offense taken. =). I singed in/out and now it seems to be working. That was weird because in my first session both bonus offers were showing. Weird. Thanks @Ispend2much6
