Oh, interesting, the Tatcha gentle version is a NO - is it too gentle? Or is there something in the formulation that your skin doesn't like?

@itsfi Haha lip balms are easy to misplace. As for the Tatcha, nothing compares to the original, nothing.

Coola & Tatcha tinted lip balms were not moisturizing enough for my taste. Then I Met You essence is a favorite, but this one was old and had gone "off". One/Size blush trio was lovely, but went moldy - I almost cried 😢 ABH brow products were old and the wrong shade. Mascaras were old. Concealers are ok, but not favorites, so I never use them. Youthforia blush used to be a favorite, but I feel weird using that brand's products now, so it had to go. Flower Beauty watercolor eyeshadow tints were very old, as were the Burt's Bees lippies. Ulta lip oil was meh, and starting to separate.

Not as much progress as I would've liked so far this year, but I'm hoping to do better the rest of the year!

Way to declutter @caitbird ! I love that you broke down your empties into "Love" - "Not a Fan" categories and gave your impressions. I've been curious about the Beauty of Joseon serum - how is it working for you and how are you applying it?

I did a lot of decluttering in March but most of it hit the bins so here are my March empties. These are all products (excepting the Tretinoin) I've restocked and used consistently. I'm finding it oddly satisfying that I've found and stuck with more products that work for me without feeling there's something "better" out there and hoping that's the trend.

First, let's not talk about how long it takes to empty an Aquaphor, lol. I do have another larger tube of this so I'll be set for as many years as it lasts (how long *does* Aquaphor last, by the way? does it *ever* expire??).

I surprisingly got through my first bottle of Agency's Future Formula (an online Tretinoin prescription Agency customizes by adding other ingredients suitable for your skin - my own includes not just the Tret but Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid and Dexpanthenol) and am now on my second. It's not my first time using Tretinoin but it's been my most successful and I'm liking Agency a lot. There's been a learning curve but now that I'm sandwiching it with a balm Agency also makes and Tatcha Indigo Overnight Repair Redness Reducing Barrier Cream I'm finding it's going well. It's also currently the only active in my skin care routine which is making my daytime regime much more simple.

This was my second bottle of Nécessaire The Body Peel - Resurfacing Serum with 12% AHA/BHA/PHA, 1% Resveratrol + Peeling Peptide ... and I'm feeling desperate for the third I've ordered to come. It's a generous amount of product that lasts a long time for me. Originally I used it as a first layer before body lotions or oils but now I'm mixing it in *with* my body products as suggested and finding I love it even more.

This was also, I believe, my third bottle of Summer Fridays Jet Lag Deep Hydration Serum 1 fl oz/30ml and I have already been working on my fourth. It's been an excellent product for my sensitive, reactive skin but I may be phasing it out as I've been trying new moisturizers (I am feeling pretty sold on replacing my usual Avene with  AESTURA Mini ATOBARRIER365 Cream Moisturizer with Ceramides & Niacinamide for Skin Moisture Barrier ... after getting some based on a review by @itsfi ) and discovering it pills with that. All said though four bottles deep I certainly stand by it as an excellent product.

Finally, my third PATRICK TA Major Brow Defining Pencil Blonde has come to an end. I'd already restocked this and it's my absolute favorite brow product if you're hunting in the difficult "taupe blonde with not a trace of blonde" shade range.

I know what you mean about the desire to try new things, even when I'm happy with what I currently use/have, because of that feeling that maybe there's something "better" out there...I've gotten better about this with some things at least, but certain types of products still tempt me 😅

Agency sounds interesting - I'd never heard of them, but a customized Tretinoin prescription is very intriguing! I'm glad it, and the other products here, are working so well for you.

Also can relate to the difficulty of finding brow makeup products in the right shade - I'm a redhead, not blonde, but I find that most "red" brow makeup offerings are too dark, or too light, or too bright, for my particular shade 😣. I've only ever found a couple that are just right, or at least close enough to not be able to tell the difference. Glad you have found one that works for you!

👍  Illuminati Waxworks Candle - Borealis - The scent, a mix of pine, fir and woodsmoke, isn't too overpowering. Has a wintry, campfire vibe to it. 

😐  Victoria Beckham by Augustinus Bader Priming Moisturizer (Golden) - the golden hue is too yellow gold for my skin tone but it does work nicely to add more warmth to foundations.

👍  Diptyque Candle - Mimosa has an interesting mix of cool slightly aquatic notes and warm, sweet, honeyed florals that really are reminiscent of mimosas. 

👍  Diptyque Candle - Baies  is a mix of fruity floral notes, roses and berries specifically, with an underlying green tone to it. 

❤️  Diptyque Candle - Feu de Bois is what you think of when you think of being in a snowy alpine cottage in the winter. There's the wood and smoke from the fireplace, the crisp notes that resemble the cool air outside, the woody, pine-like scent of winter trees, and the slightly sweet, slightly fruity juniper berries.

👍  NEST New York Driftwood & Chamomile Candle is calming, comforting and soothing. A pretty scent to wind down the day with.

👍  Love the thin, sheer but buildable formulation and GLOW-Y finish of the Eminence Daily Defense Tinted SPF. Tint is better suited for those with medium complexion & warm-leaning olive undertones.

👍  I forgot how much I liked the feel, formula and finish of the Tom Ford Soft Traceless Matte Foundation (discontinued) until now. A little goes a long way.

😐  Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Mini Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist 1.18 fl oz / 35 mL # is a fine enough setting spray; lightly hydrating and adds a soft glow as it sets my makeup. Just other setting sprays out there that perform better on me.

👍  INNBeauty Project Body Bright & Smooth Serum (discontinued?) - Like the lightweight, slightly hydrating feel of the serum & that it contains AHAs & BHAs to slough away dead skin cells gently, without irritating my skin. Don't love that if I use too much product it can start to pill. 

❤️  Trader Joe's Clementine Scented Foaming Hand Soap smells wonderfully of clementines - fresh and citrusy but not  overpowering.  

❤️  This is my last can of the partially used amika Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo in my collection. A previous go-to, and one I'd happily use, but the K18 dry shampoo is tops for me.

😍  sara happ The Lip Expert The Lip Scrub - sparkling peach - a little goes a very loooong ways and it does smell like peaches, without being too sweet or synthetic.

❤️  This is my second tube of the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Medium to Full Coverage Radiant Concealer with Hyaluronic Acid and I would be going for a third but would like to give the newly released concealer a try next. Medium-to-full coverage, a little goes a long way, works wonders for concealing stubborn post-acne dark spots.

👍  ISDIN Isdinceutics Hyaluronic Concentrate is viscous without being heavy and reminds me more of an ampoule than a serum. Felt nice on my skin but one foil packet of this isn't enough of a sample for me to decide whether to pick up a full size, especially given the hefty price tag on this one. 

😍  I didn't want to love the Augustinus Bader The Vitamin C Serum 1 oz/30 ml #, but I do; or, my skin responds well to it. Feels light on skin, brightens without sticky or tacky dry down. As with many vitamin C products, this one does contain that tart, tangy, somewhat metallic-y smell to it; it disappears but it is noticeable when you dispense the product.  Note: Sephora is currently offering a deluxe sample with a $60 min spend and code. 

👍  JVN Complete Hydrating Air Dry Hair Styling Cream does do a nice job of detangling, conditioning and moisturizing my hair; I also feel like it leaves a softness and smoothness to it that I don't get without using it, but I'm not sure I'll pick up a full size as I have plenty of other hair care products to work my way through.

❤️  Nette Chai Milk Candle 11 oz / 312 g 2 wick candle - creamy and comforting, with a hint of spice, just like the drink. Great for cooler seasons or even now when spring hasn't made up its mind whether to stick around

🐐  Goes without saying that I love Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer - Touchland | Sephora, they're GOAT products for me. Berry Bliss isn't my fave scent from the collection but I like that it keeps my hand clean and cleansed on the go, without feeling sticky or tacky, or leaving a film of my hands

👍  I'm not the biggest fan of liquid lipsticks but the Muzigae Mansion Liquid Lipstick isn't so bad - velvet feel, probably between a true matte and a demi matte consistency. Not as long lasting as I expected but not drying either which is a plus. 

😍  Gisou Honey Infused Hydrating Lip Oil (sparkly) - thick but not overly goopy, has a soft honey floral scent. The sparkle in this one adds a lovely soft sheen to the lips along with a glossy shine, the gloss finish can be built up.

 

😍  EADEM Mami Wata Barrier Strengthening Face Mist with Cica, Panthenol, Ectoin for Sensitive, Irritate... # - has a slightly herbaceous scent that might be off-putting to some; I don't mind it, though it took a little getting used to in the beginning. Mist on this is a smidge stronger than many I have, but not in an overpowering sort of way. 

👍  LYS concealer has a flexible wand which I wasn't sure about at first but came to appreciate for its ability to deposit product in all the nooks and crannies of my face.

👍  shu uemura Ultimate Reset Shampoo for Very Damaged Hair 10 oz/ 300 mL does a great job of cleansing my hair without stripping it of necessary oils or making it feel like straw. Has a citrus-herbal scent that may take getting used to for some. Works well with the corresponding mask. I'd like to try this with the conditioner in the line someday and if there's ever a sample (foil or deluxe size) of both, I would pick them up. Given the price, I'm inclined towards the mask (which I have and love) first

The Eadem spray sounds good; we don't get that brand but I will have to ask some friends and family about it. Is the herb smell like medicine like Eastern herb medicines or like food herbs like rosemary/thyme?
