BIC is the place to talk about beauty!  There are lots of fun threads, from mask to makeup (and even photo A Year of Beauty- Photography Challenge ) challenges all the way to pet paradise.  In my early days, I kinda wanted to talk to everyone, but I didn't know what to talk about, I just knew I loved makeup and had found my people.

With threads like Monthly Favorites: May 2025 Edition! Community Favorite Concealers: Tag your Holy Grails!  , Beauty Pet Peeves 2 I feel the most comfortable when chiming in because I can talk about makeup.  I figured, hey, let's open up some discourse amongst ourselves; a thread with getting to know you questions could be kind of fun.  (And, I still get to talk about makeup.)

Aw, thank you @CynthieLu I definitely need to take some of your classes on the eyeliner!!! Wow @jaaayp  I have always wanted to jump on the freckles train but I’ve always been afraid to look ridiculous! I love that you really broke it down. And how amazing is it that I got my very own jaaayp tutorial on how to do the most amazing contour. And I’m sure you’re not that old like me. But I usually just throw my blush on and didn’t really pay attention to my placement but I’m definitely going to try your trick now. I love how your bronzer and contour looks so perfect!!

Ok but I’m still looking for the large pores and greasy hair. Is it like a where’s Waldo? I can’t find it!!! And pffft your brows look so amazing with no product!!! 🤣

Same @ather I see no pores, or greasy hair here. It is a tricky find and seek, I can't find no matter how hard I look. 👀🔎

@ather @CynthieLu you guys are just way too kind. I almost zoomed in on my own picture to show you them pores and my greasy hair ++++ my mustache (TMI, I know...) 

Freckles are so fun @ather I think anyone can pull it off at any age/face/tone!! I feel like it makes me too fresh even when I don't feel like it LOL I think you should try! (If not out in public, start with days at home?!)

@jaaayp  I still disagree! I will trade you my old wrinkles and big pores for your perfect skin!!! And pfft greasy hair. Come see mine. I can’t even photo it because it’s bad. (Not entirely my fault we have a critical water issue in my town right now) 

I definitely will try! I’ve always wanted freckles! I remember my mom putting them on her skin with an eye liner pencil when I was a kid!
