100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@WinglessOne OT for this thread, but I was finally able to try the By Terry powder today. It reminds me of the old Hourglass Veil formula. Which I loved. Thank you so much for mentioning this, I am going to try it out for a few more days but I’m pretty sure it will be a purchase in the near future;) @jozkid

Oh no no @eshoe!  Not at all! I’m dying to play with some makeup and god knows I seriously need an exfoliation stat! I just find the cleanup step a little daunting at the end of the day. 

Besides that I have to send my husband upstairs to get all my skin potions, and trying to explain what I need exactly is a trial. You are NOT a doofus! 😁

Thanks @lmaster! The shades are from Target! Shades—especially cat eye—are one of the other things I tend to hoard, though thankfully I own fewer of them than I do lipsticks. 😄

The Flesh Fatale swatches nice, @WinglessOne. I think that’s in a duo with Mattetrance Christy. The shimmer is beautiful!

@eshoe Yep, it’s available in a duo. I bought it standalone because the pink MatteTrance in the duo looks waaaaaaay too pale for me. 😄 But it’s a great deal for someone who can pull off both shades!

ELF Matte Lip Crayon in Berry Sorbet

I was expecting to toss this one pretty much immediately due to the "matte" designation, but it applied more like a cream.. soft, creamy, almost sheer. This type of berry is extremely prevalent in my collection as it is, so I wasn't gonna be that sad to get rid of it, but if it stays comfy, it'll be another keeper after all 👍

@RGbrown it actually looks very pretty! I know you have a lot of this colour in lippies, but this crayon actually compliments you very much! I was somewhat suspicious of ELF products but this  might change my mind.

ELF makes a great lipstick...definitely give them a shot at some point. For $3-4, the formula is actually quite nice. I decluttered my matte bullets because I seem to be super anti-mattes in general, but it's pretty comfy for a matte...way better than many out there. 😊
